Ever wonder if you are still able to play the old C&C Titles like Tiberian Sun or Red Alert 2 online with friends? The simple answer is yes, you can! We partnered with the well-known community service called XWIS to give C&C players the ability to experience or revisit the multiplayer of titles running off the Westwood Online service. XWIS officially supports Tiberian Sun, Tiberian Sun Firestorm, Red Alert 2, Red Alert 2: Yuri’s Revenge and C&C Renegade.
What do you need to get into your match? Well, you will need an account on the XWIS system first – You can create one or log into an existing account at http://xwis.net/control_panel/ .

To verify that you actually own a legal C&C copy, you will need to enter your serial key into the prompt and click “Add Serial”. This will unlock your account to create user profiles for the older Command & Conquer titles using Westwood Online.

Create a Nickname of your choice for the game you want to play online and hit the “Create Nick” button. The system will automatically assign a password to your account. This nickname is only for playing the online components of these games through XWIS.

You can use your freshly created nickname and generated password to login into the multiplayer of the games mentioned above. Tip: Use the auto save feature for the login information once you login to your games to avoid retyping the generated password all the time.
Please notice that you have to login with your created nickname and generated password and not your XWIS account login information. Also be advised that the original Command & Conquer and Red Alert are not officially supported through XWIS. You can find your product code / serial number either inside the retail box or through the Origin detail window displayed below.
