Looks fine...one has to question why there is a need for phones that can play Quake III, but I guess I can't complain all that much.

Who doesn't want to play quake 3 is the better question.

On desktops, even laptops, sure. On a phone?

well there is also other applications for having a fast processor on a phone. However the dual core snapdragon was bound to happen sooner rather than later

I could do with the added for multitasking, true. But I kinda wish we weren't physically hampered by the power requirements. Even smart engineering cannot hide the fact that our battery life needs a breakthrough somewhere.

that is too true, maybe they ought to continue work on the more efficient batteries, not larger capacity. the larger capacity , the more brick like the battery is

And the worst part is, the battery is the heaviest single component of the phone. We kinda reached a limit for that, and we are still juicing stuff up. So either processors have to go super-efficient with all the smart engineering, or the OS must be coded well, or we need new tech for battery.

new tech. Sony Ericsson had an idea with their green phones: self charging in the sun
