Silly Sunday

I just watch a Silly Sunday game and I enjoyed it as it was different. If anyone is interested then they can download the Replay and watch it. I wonder what they will do next on the next Silly Sunday.

I played in the very first one and had a blast even if the games were terrible (all you could build was engineers :P) The concept for those of you that have not run across it is to have a community get together and trick it up or tweak it in some way as to blunt the competitive aspects and just focus on having fun. No prizes, no winners, no losers, no brackets, just some representation of the community showing up at the same time and having a good time.

I hope some of you will participate :)

Methuselah I am the one who Wubbed the last one simply because I enjoyed watching it. :p

I noticed the Ferengi mentioned "not enough Mutant Hovels in official maps though". Then I noticed here that Davoplayer is currently working on a custom map regarding Hovels, and where later there maybe a better map using Hovels for a future Silly Sunday. But then who knows what might be in the next Silly Sunday and the focus appears to be on having fun.

I made that suggestion in the planning topic yesterday I think the idea itself is a really interesting one and a few more Hovel's might have made the result much more entertaining for those participating.

Maybe we'll have to revisit this :)

Methuselah, seeing elsewhere on the forum about Air Units I was thinking. Maybe something for the next Silly Sunday in Air Units only. Rules could include that each player can only build Engineers to gather Tib and Support Powers can be used. Well something like that but with the aim of having BIG Air Battles.
