I played this game back in the day and I just bought it again today. I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to get it to install but after coming to this site I finally got it. The only problem is that when I'm playing the game it's like cut in half. The game shows up on only half of the screen and the far right side is cut off so I can't see the last column and the middle one (where they show the pictures of what soliders you can make) is cut in half. While it isn't a game killer, it would be nice for it to show up in the whole screen so I can see everything.

Could you please at least post your system specs?
By the way, this sounds like a problem CnC-DDraw can fix; if all fails, by running in windowed mode.

So I put that ddraw.dll file where that site said and, while it's not a full-screen, I can see everything which makes it ten times better. I also read that it could fix the random freezing problems I had. I'm not the greatest with computers so I didn't know where to go to change..."Back buffer in Video memory" ON and "Allow hardware filled blits" OFF in "Hardware Options". Thanks for all the help. I thought I was screwed when I first put the game in and it wouldn't work but I found everything on here to help me fix it.

These hardware options can be accessed if you run the "RASetup" program that's in the game's folder.
By the way, you can edit ddraw.ini (which is created after running the game with the dll once) to disable the windowed mode.

I changed it and got it to be full-screen but then it got cut off a little at the bottom so I had to change the settings to 640x480 instead of 640x400 and it's perfect now. Thanks for all the help, now I can fully enjoy this great game!
