View Full Version : Technical Help pl0x (VERY EASY AND VERY COMMON)

In Renegade it would crash and say ialmrt5 display driver has stopped working, I solved this on another computer by installing Direct X 9.0c, But I did it on mine but it "occasionally" happens.... HELP PLEASE !

Have you updated your graphics drivers? There may be a compatibility issue.

Plus the usual, run the game as admin, reinstall if problem persists.

I don't know much about Renegade...

I have updated my drivers
No 2
I'm in XP
No 3
I re installed EXACTLY 4 times
Did that help ?

hey did you ever figure this out? i see you installed the game 4 times but did you apply the patches?

I fixed it in 2 ways, different computers

#1 RE UPDATING DRIVERS (TWICE)
#2 Getting Direct X 9.0c (ONLY THAT AND NOT 10 or 11)

with direct x you can download them all. its just win 7 doesn't include the older versions. but am really happy to hear its working for you now
