Well, actually I have two favorite C&C titles. I really enjoyed almost every single C&C title, but two of them made their way right into my heart. The first one is Generals; I know I share that sentiment with many people in the community. I had so much fun playing it and there were so many great Mods out there, Generals has to be one of my favorites. The other one is Tiberium Wars, I really liked the dark atmosphere of the game and I loved the Scrin coming into the story with their cool units. But again, almost every C&C title is highly up on my overall favorite game list.

I hope Victory Games will be taking a look at pre-Generals C&C for inspiration in their new title.

Red Alert, TD, TS... I just want some Westwood influence in the future of the franchise.

If only you knew how much Westwood influence was in Generals/ZH, you would crap your pants.

I'm aware of how much Westwood was involved. I'm simply saying pretty much onwards from C&C3 we saw a decline in well... customer satisfaction.

Damn frigging right. It's like they didn't give a toss anymore.

No doubt about that. Here's to hoping that Victory Games is as distant from EA's board-driven-development as possible.

I have to admit that I agree with you guys. After falling in love with the Red Alert series and enjoying the play-throughs of Tiberian Dawn / Sun, I was desperately disappointed with Generals, probably mainly because it had the C&C name attached to it. It wasn't a horrible game, just didn't belong.

To be honest, because of this disappointment, I only recently picked up the latest C&C titles on Steam while they were on sale. I haven't even had a chance to play through them yet at all. ;)

That said, while I did like Renegade, I hope that they stick with strategy titles only, because that is where the C&C name should really go like they say they're going to do!
