Just recently got C&C TW & KW

Hey Guys & Girls,

Just recently got C&C TW & KW on the PC, had it originally on the xbox360 but sold it on when a while ago.

Any tips for on line play i remember trying it on xbox and got completely wiped out in about 5 mins.

Also just wanted to post up and say hi and introduce myself, I'm justy from the UK

Just play the game and save the replays. Watch the replays of the matches you lost and learn what you did wrong and what your enemy did right.

Nah but seriously, it depends on how experienced you are in other RTSs. To give you a few pointers:

Scout your enemy as early and frequently as possible
Always have control groups
Learn and create unit counters for everything your opponent has
Catch tib spikes as early as possible to get the edge in resources
Above all, remember that C&C games (and most other RTSs) are fiercly intense; one false move can spell defeat

While following these general rules, get to know each faction and find which one you enjoy the most. The rest is up to you. :)

And yeah, watching replays can help. But everyone's style is different. Personally I feel really cheap if I win by copying another person's strat.

You dont necessarily have to copy the enemies strat, you just need to know what they did that was so effective against you, and formulate your strategy so that in the future your enemies have a tougher time doing the same thing to beat you, or when you detect their strategy using scouting, you know what to do to prepare yourself and stop them.

I play with some CNC4 pro players from the uk (fusty, zodiac, arigold) so your welcome to join us. Just make sure name is something along the lines of justy and your level 20. Otherwise you'll get mistakenly kicked.

Yes it's good to watch replays where you lost but i find also it is good to become part of a group and get some hard level matches. That's the only way to improve your skills.

Thats cool mate still aint had a match online yet been playing through campain at the moment. will get my level up and give you a shout when i am around 20.

You can also post some replays to GR's replay section and ask for tips. Reading couple strategy guides and trying tricks from them wont hurt either. :-)
