My serial key doesn't work

I was given Twilight as a gift from a friend and the serial key does not work. Can someone please help me with this? The game is installed but I cant play because when I try to register my game online to play, it rejects the serial key.

You did mention the game is installed so maybe you already have registered the serial key code. If so then when you start the game do not use the button "Create new account", instead use the button "Login" but first make sure you have entered your email address and password in the appropriate slots. Any problems then contact EA Support, use the "Contact Us" link on the EA webpage at this address.

in reply to eddy just quickly cnc4 is weird you install FIRST then first time you load it it asks for the serial weird i know but hey

andrew how are you putting in the code? there are digital manuals that people are copying and pasting from. if this is this case try entering it in manually(its only 20 characters). if after that it it still doesn't work then try ea support. you said your friend gave this to you. had he played it before? if so then you have to go through alot to get it on yours (hopefully he registered in your name) either way contact ea support after you try the code manually(keyboard not cut and paste)
