You may be able to tell from my avatar that Yuri's army is my favorite faction in the Red Alert series, so I decided to deticate an entire thread to the mysterious servants of the madman Yuri. Anything related to Yuri or his army is relevent here. Any questions are welcome too, and I have some myself:

1. Why does Yuri keep his Soviet uniform with the hammer and sickle on the collar after going rogue?

That question I may also tie-in with his motives/loyalties, because Yuri's comment on Capitalists in the cutscene for "Hollywood and Vain" and when he tells the soviet general in the London mission about the USSR becoming a "Tiny little province in an American empire" kind of infers that he still holds some soviet ideals in my eyes, and is actually doing things himself because incompitant Romanov and the post-Stalin Soviet Union can't.

2. About when did Yuri start work on his actual army, and from where did he recruit it's members? The army seemed to already be at good strength by the time the Alcatraz psychic dominator was destroyed by time travellers, and it's members don't seem to be primarily of Russian descent either, based on accents.

3. Where did Yuri's army get the designs for all of their equipment from? Anything psychic I'm sure was designed by Yuri himself, but the more basic things like conventional tanks may be from elsewhere, as I faintly remember something about Yuri "persuading" black market sellers to hand over blueprints, and something about the lasher tank originating as a soviet attempt to make a light tank. This may or may not be accurate though.

1. He probably has no other clothing :D

2. Yuri used his psychic powers to "recruit" his army. He simply has to make them to work for him.

3. The Lasher Tank reminds me of something from WW2 era, and some other vehicles have Soviet-ish designs.

Would his troops be under some kind of subtle hypnosis then? Because they're still vulnerable to mind control (may just be for balancing though) and don't seem to be as brainwashed and mindless as a slave to Yuri mind controlled by regular means.

I think that his army was mostly made up of mind controlled slaves that he acquired throughout the years.

I have another, this time about the psychic corps. Who are the psychic corps troopers seen in the campaign? I think it says somewhere that they are psychics drawn into the corps and trained to use mind control, but if this is the case, why do they all sound and look like Yuri, and are they different from the skirmish/multiplayer "Yuri" unit? If they're not just clones of Yuri, why did Yuri use clones over psychic corps troopers after going rogue?

Maybe because if he had an exact clone it may be at equal power with him and try to take over. So he made clones that were weaker then him so this wouldn't happen.

No I mean the yuri clones, the uniots used by Yuri's army in Yuri's revenge. Are the soviet psychic corps troopers and the skirmish "Yuris" Yuri clones with different names for not, and if they're not clones why do they look and sound like Yuri. That is my question.

Lore wise they are units from the Soviet pyschic core that was started by Stalin and finished by Romanov/Yuri, and also some of Yuri clones.

Pratically wise it's because the creators of the game did not have the time want, and also due to engine limitations, to make any real decernable difference between the original madman Yuri and troopers/clones
