mouse dosent show up

i cant see my mouse after starting the game and iv tryed everything i can think of to fix it but iv failed at every turn can anyone help cause its been awile sence iv had this problem on any C&C game?

i found this same error but mine was rectified by going to control panel > mouse > pointer options > unticking mouse pointer trails. hope that helps
