Windows 7 does not save Kanes Wrath

I can play CNC 3 tib. wars no probs. When I play CNC 3 Kane's Wrath I can also play it all good, however, it does not save ANYTHING - every time I start the game its all back to default - no saved campaign, no saved replays, even no saved option - resolution and graphic options are back to default. basically every time I start the game, its like I start it up for the first time.

I have already re-installed and that didn't help. I used to be able to play it fine on my old windows vista machine. but on my new windows 7 64bit machine its giving me this issue.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My specs:
i7 870 @ 2.93GHz
2 Grafic cards (each 1GB DDR5 ATI HD5830 - crossfire)
Kingston 8GB 1333MHz DDR3
750W Xigmatek PSU
64-bit Windows 7

Strange it works for me on multiple Win7 systems...it shouldn't need them but have you tried to run KW with elevated rights?

Try finding the Options.ini file in the game folder and editting your settings there.

Should be in the %Appdata% fold for the game.

there is no options.ini file anywhere in the game. i have checked in the actual game folder as well as in the hidden appdata folder :/
