Voted for RA2. I loved the Generals challenge in ZH and some of the new units and support powers and some of there missions were great as well, but the MP was a letdown for me after Gens and the campaign was worse than in Gens whereas RA2's campaign was fun (easy, but fun) and the fast pace of the gameplay was enjoyable. Didn't like the humor they added though :( Miss you RA1 days!

Voted Red Alert 2, in my opinion its the best C&C game ever made. EA and VG can really learn from it, its gotta be one of the best sequals a game ever has. The graphic improvement was outstanding, the gameplay was extremely great, both SP and MP kicked ***. Even my dad played a lot of RA2 online (and yes he was a pro) and he doesn't even like playing multiplayer RTS matches.

I really like all C&C games (except for games that are made after C&C 3 TW), but for me Red Alert 2 - Best game in C&C series. Crazy company, crazy multiplayer with many modes (sea war, meatgrinder for example), excellent music from Klepacki, epic movie and many fun and adrenaline.

Played RA2 when i was around 11 in 2001 and loved the beautiful atmosphear, soundtracks, Epic both mission and Sidebar cutscenes, Yuri epic villain as traitor to the soviets, units and resource gathering all combined as a epic PC game ive ever played after i played RA1.

After i was able to finish both RA and yuris revenge and thats when Generals came out, my first look on it i was bit Uninterest in it cause of the universe had no connection with other 2 universes, then after when my friend showed me the main menu on generals and just looking at hundreds of units getting beat up i was then interest in it until when i relised the campaign didnt have much story at all i then liked all but the story.

RA2 has to Win this voting otherwise in the final round its just gunna be Generals vs Zero hour which wont even give other 2 universes a chance to face in last round.

CCG ZH is almost the same thing , you ever tought about if they gona make a new CCG2 game they gona make it exactly a copy of ZH only ? All they needed is a name off the game you cake.
The game it self would have a touch of the CCG/ZH game , so infact you backstabbed us for the new concept of CCG , wich is real country's with almost 100% real unit's (terrorist ,humvees ,raptor's ,comancees, ambulance, dozer's ,workers ,jarmen sniper :P, scorpions, paladin,quad's ,migs,scud's,angry mobs and so on.

Now in place off real life CCG units, what we are gona get is another game with alien laser fake dumb robot unrealistik kidy units.

Anyways... I voted Zero Hour (poor Zero Hour is going to lose because cheaters are voting for RA2). Anyways, as much as I love RA2, the multiplayer was just not as fun (still fun, just not as much). If I added up all the hours I played Zero Hour, I could literally count months, of my life playing that (maybe that's a little exaggeration, but it was a considerable amount of time). It was just that great and fun to play. Even though the story sucked, the mission level designs were awesome. I absolutely LOVED Generals Challenge. That's kinda where I wasted most of my time. Also, the amount of great mods for ZH was another big thing for me.

difficult to decide.. red alert 2 was better in missions... generals story line is bit meh. but the ai is better to play against in generals skirmish. the explosions are awesome. of ourse since generals came out after it has the improved tweeks like garrisoning buildings with more than just gi's/conscripts. premotions were more gradual, and aircraft were better. but red alert 2 had a random map generator. and tesla coils and naval battles. i think red alert 2 wins this dispite the fact i wasnt keen on some of the desicions they made going to a more cartoony design for tanks.. at the time i bought them (which is the only way to be fair i spose) i got more out of red alert.

Secondly, I don't expect fluent english or shakespearan literals, just a post I can look at and not tilt my head in a vain effort to try to understand what they wanted to tell. Appropriate spelling for one is a big help and really not too much to ask.
Third, two full stops do not convey a meaning. It is three full stops that sign an open ending or pause in reading.
Fourth, GrammarFascist at heart and if you try to change me, I will interpunctuate you if you know what I mean ...

The Westwood fanboys won't give a *explicit* no matter what you do. The C&C4 fanboys won't like it because (hopefully) it's not anything like C&C4. If the next game happens to be Generals 2; you'll probably have some Generals fanboys hate it because "They did it wrong". You'll also Conyard fanboys hate it because it doesn't use the Conyard system. If it's a new universe you'll have various fanboy groups hate it for various stupid reasons. If the next game is a complete/partial reboot of either the Tiberium or Red Alert universes; you'll have fanboys hate it because it discredited one of their favorite games, or because they found the reboot to be useless. I'm quite happy that Red Alert 2 is winning. A great classic. I wouldn't mind seeing a graphic overhaul with newer tech. Keep the tile-based movement though, it makes things that much more interesting.

Anyway, tiberium sun and redalert 1 and 2 have an enough fair advantage as they have had more exposure to the public. Therefore I believe it is only fair that Generals: Zerohour votes are multiplied according to how many more video game releases its opposing game has in this bracket competition! :cool:

You're ignorant, I can bet my life that 99.99% of the players that stuck with Ra2 after years went out and bought Generals/ZH once it hit the shelves.
Like myself, I went out and bought it and as a matter of fact I built a new pc to actually support it with high graphics. After playing it for a few months I didn't find it the same as ra2, I felt as the gameplay was slow and just really wasn't in to it. Most of you will reply with " well you're a noob, not open to changes and upgrades etc" It wasn't because of that, I just disliked it. Exposure really has nothing to do with it as most of the Ra2 fans moved on to generals/zh and got exposed to both games. Some players stayed and some didn't thats it.

Regardless of who wins this won't affect what game comes out next, but if it did , I know for a fact that Ra2 would win. EA MAKE A REMAKE OF RA2 !! Ra3 was a big disappointment and this time actually stick with the game and support it.

Anyways, what is with all the RA3 hate? Especially from Gen/ZH fans none less. I see RA1/2 fans hate RA3 less than these guys. Honestly RA3 was a good RTS (it only falls short as a CnC RA game to many of the fans of the original RA games), but if it was a separate game all on its own... it is a very solid and good RTS (though wacky). No, I am not doing the CnC4 defense (I think that game just fails period).

First thing to remember, this is RA2 vs. ZH (not RA3).

Secondly, I doubt the results here will change what game VG is making. Even if an RA4 is made in the future, it doesn’t change the quality RA2 has or what people think of RA3.

Thirdly, if this was an RA3 vs. ZH poll, I still vote RA3, I liked that game better (as for series purity... well ZH is an expansion to a spin off, so no... it can't hold any purity seal on this one). Flail your arms as much as you want, it doesn't change MY opinion that I think RA3 is a good game. We will leave how the story was wacked up for another time.

Lastly, as I said we are voting for RA2 vs. ZH. Here I vote for RA2. Sure I have some critical criticism about YR... but... this is RA2 core we are talking about here! Yes, I preferred RA2 over ZH.
