how do I uninstall user-generated maps

I"ve installed and played a bunch of user-generated maps, and am ready to install new ones and keep playing

I deleted the folders in my DOCUMENTS/COMMAND AND CONQUER GENERALS DATA/MAPS directory ( the folders relating to the old maps I don't want any more )

however, the names of the maps still appear in my list of maps inside the game, and they seem to still run even though I thought they were gone

how do I uninstall maps from the game ?

You may have to re-install the game or check other directories such as your program files. If you still have this problem you may choose to ignore it or just uninstall and install the game.

maybe check this folder (DO NOT DELETE EVERYTHING)
Disk:\Users\username\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\MapPreviews
