View Full Version : Will there be new patch (v1.10) in C&C3 TW future?

Since last patch v1.09 is optimized for Online play and today online play is virtually nonexistant as i read in another topic.
How about patch v1.10 will be optimized for singleplayer then or at least not break singleplayer play.
Example would be: GDI: Sarajevo mission on Hard. Well i'm a completionist and i want Gold medal, but on Hard is really Hard to do so.
I downloaded a trainer and activated only one cheat many times "More Gold" and mission was peace of cake on Hard. Well i deleted that profile, becouse i don't want to cheat. I want "steamroll" on that mission but only tactics is "Rush" i guess and yes i'm not very good player just average.
So can we expect (last) patch v1.10 to be out anytime soon? At least fix harvesters so they give more gold like it was in previous patch versions.

nope, there wont be any patch in the future.
but i dont get what some people mean by 1.9 not being optimized for singleplayer... you can complete all the missions with all their objectives just fine.
gdi sarajevo isnt that hard... and you dont have to 'rush' in that mission (infact i dont think ANY mission favours 'rushing'-style gameplay... its mostly just about camping/defending, building a large force and steamrolling as you described).
what that particular mission -does- force you to do is to expand early and secure other fields, because your starting field does run out pretty fast.
just turtle with watchtowers and railgun tanks, then get some juggernauts and move your army into their base...

Well that's too bad for no future patches...:(
i guess i will try to beat that mission again (with no cheats off course)
i know there is video on youtube to how to beat it on Hard - will watch that again...

well theres also plenty of little mods out there that i think do a better job of enhancing the game experience than i think any official patch would have done anyway :p

For a long time a Rig, 2 mammoths and 2 APC's with zone troopers can hold the eastern entrance while you build up. Then just move that little force east to the next tib field, plant a surveyor, get another ref and harv up, get some defenses up to cover north and that is good to go. You do the same with the northern field except you should bring more anti infantry with you. Then just get juggernauts and mammoths and that commando for the bonus objective.

I finally beat that mission today. :)
Early exspanded to the east.
Used War factorys as vehicle healers, builded 2 next each other and swarmed with Mammoths and 2~4 APC with snipers inside...
Rigs too vulnerable later against NOD Aircraft or Avatars.
Then Avatars showed up used Rocket Soldiers as decoys to save Mammoths from destruction.
First barrier destroyed with Aircraft help. Second with Troopers. Third with Aicraft.
Used Ion Cannon to destroy Barracks and War Factorys of NOD.
Captured all necessary buildings and Nuclear missiles building. With Commando destroyed lonely Avatar.
Not used Juggernauts at all just builded one...
It took me 1:37 h to finish mission and i got all intel and all secondary objectives.
