Made it through the soiviet campaing on hard, and got all the way to the last mission in the allied campaign on hard, now I'm stuck there and can't beat it.

I've tried and tried and have given up, simply not enough time given to complete the last mission on hard, (where you have to stop the shuttle launch). Very dissapointed and frustraited with this game.

My stategy on easy and medium has always been to bomb the iron curtains with air power, but with the mass amount of top tier armor and helicopters they keep sending across the bridge, it takes all my money just to keep my base from getting wiped out. I capture both the 2 refineries from the start but it doesnt help, all I hear all game is "insuffencient funds" and that I'm running out of time.

I've tried to destroy the bridge using force fire, but my units just fire away all day at it without any effect, even though the bridge PLAINLY says to "destroy it to bar passage" when you mouse over it.

My co-commander is also an idiot, half the time he can't destroy the curtains on his side even if I tell him to strike target, that or his base gets wiped out completely causing me to lose outright, He's no help at all.

20 min to build a base, defend it from massive attack, build an army and destroy 7 iron curtains, a soviet super weapon and the shuittle...20 min? I used to love this game, now all it does it **** me off because of a completely unfair timer in one mission. You can take your 20 min timed mission and stick it cause it's total BS.

Well I tried 5 more times, after the 20+ attempts from earlier...

Jesus, my co-commander gets completely wiped out every time. Did you guys even bother to playtest this game? This mission is hands down the dumbest **** I have ever seen put into a video game.

Lol, I have to admit that is probably the hardest mission but still its pretty easy to beat, don't expect yourself to wipe out all those iron curtains just with tanks and infantries, you need tactics.

Here is how I beat that mission fast.

When the match starts just tell your CoCommander to wipe out the closest iron curtain near him it will proabably take him the entire match to finish off a single iron curtain.
And you, you need to tech up fast, build a really quick chronoshpere, mirage tank, tanya and tier 3 units.
Make sure you still have few mirage tanks alive you'll need to put their stance to hold fire, then just let them cross the closest bridge and start attacking the structure you see, if a unit comes close just press S to stop the mirage tanks and they will camafloague then when the unit tries to retreat kill it.

Then with some micro you'll be able to take out the closest iron curtain just with your mirage tanks, now don't destroy one of the ore refinries and the warfactories, you'll need to send engieneers to capture those
Put engineers inside a riptide and capture them.

Now send a disguised spy to the second closest chronosphere, and then bribe 2 of those Apocalypse tanks, then just immediatly start attacking the iron curtain.

Now your chronoshpere should be ready and teleport about 3 mirage tanks to the next iron curtain (make sure to chronsopehre away from tesla coils).

You'll probably have 2 chronsopheres left finish em out with your cocommander, or with century bombers or with the chronsphere tanya.

Then when the iron curtains are off just send tanya with either chronosphere or century bomber and blast the shuttle.

Your co-commander is the one who should build air, not you. There's a ton of AA on your side of the map and not that much on his side. You need to attack the first base with your starting mirage tanks. WF's, Barracks, power etc. all need to be destroyed and then lastly you will reach the Iron curtain and take it out. All the while you are doing that you have 2 refs and both oil derricks. You place 3 AA turrets at the top of the base and one in the middle and 1 airfield filled with apollos. They are ONLY there for defense. They are the ones you use to take out their kirovs. Both the ones that are attacking your base but also the ones that are attacking the co-commanders base because it is the kirovs that destroys him. You keep him alive and he will take out the first 2 iron curtains on his side. Get a chronosphere as soon as possible + tanya/IFV, mirage tanks and athena cannons.

Once the chrono is ready, chrono in 2 athenas and 3-4 mirage tanks to the top base. If you place them well enough you can take out the entire base and do some damage to the west as well. Mirage tanks can also take out the last iron curtain on your side. If you have build a proton collider right after the chronosphere, you should use it on the air base to often it up before moving in with your mirages and apollos.

The iron curtain up top can be taken out with athenas and mirage tanks as well.

The shuttle can be taken out 2 ways, but do note that you really only have 1 and if you are lucky 2 chances at this. Tanya in a century bomber, drop down and take out the shuttle or tanya in an IFV that you chrono in with athenas and mirages and she c4's the shuttle. You can win with just over a minute left. Just remember to get that chronosphere as soon as possible. DO NOT build and army before. Quick tech to it. The faster you get it, the more you can use it and you really want to use it as many times as possible.

I can understand that frustration. I can't remember how I beat it on hard difficulty, but I do remember I beat it on my first try.

Rushing the first enemy outpost is arguably the best option, but it's also not a bad idea to turtle up in your base. Either way though, the easiest way to win I find is just to mass as many Vindicators as possible and bomb the hell out of the Iron Curtains. I can't really remember how much AA they've got on the right side, but cryocopters might be another alternative strategy.

Chronoshifting Tanya inside an IFV or ACV to finish the enemy off is the best way to finish it if you're low on time. And depending on how fast you tech up you can even do the same thing to one or two of the Iron Curtains.

Well it took me a few more tries but I finally beat it. I had always used my starting mirage tanks to take out the 4 armor facilities and the first curtain at the start, but this time I decided to do both parts of the mission myself. I built an airport over on the co-commanders side to destroy the curtains on his side myself, along with 4 missile turrets on his coast and sending down a few multi-gunners to stop him from getting wtfpwned by the kirovs like he does every time.

For my side I found that if you can unpack your MCV a little bit lower then usual it will leave enough room to build a naval base in the c**** (lol why does it edit c a n a l?). I built 3 aircraft carriers a couple destroyers and a buttload of the small anti-air ships. Moving down the c**** on the right side it was rather easy to take out the curtains with the carriers.

I used tanya with chrono to take out the superweapon and curtain in the back and the chrono timer came back up in time for the shuttle.

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear you beat it.

Also, the reason why it bleeps out "c a n a l" is because of what the last four letters in the word spell, which I've underlined. :P
