I hope to good you are keeping the Dozer/worker mechanics, they worked a treat in Gen/ZH, and is one of the best features of that game.

The mechanics should be different for each universe as we have it now, MCV for tib, MCV and Crane for RA and so forth.

Judging from screenshots, dozers again.

I would like to have MCV/Dozer mix, like in Tiberian Dawn Redux mod.
MCV for tib, MCV and Crane for RA and so forth.Doesn't Tiberium actually have MCV and Crane, and RA only MCV (only soviets had crane)?

I hope they use builders/workers as well. More tactical possibilities in the game (if they implement them right). I'm hoping that the builders do more than just build:

Attack other units
Repair units
Run over infantry
Repair buildings
Repair civilian buildings
Sabotage enemy buildings

etc

Just keep the good old Worker system from Generals.

I wouldn't mind a mixed MCV/dozer system, but so far, on the screens, we see at least two EU dozers.

Maybe an mcv system for EU, workers for GLA, Dozers for chinese?

Dozers are confirmed already, as you seen in the screens.

Just keep the good old Worker system from Generals.

We know that GLA is one of the factions and a Worker systems is quite appropriate. I even saw GLA on the front bumper of a Quad Cannon and that unit is also quite appropriate. I hope we have someone like Thrax. Yeah I also spotted the dozers, so I'll look forward to seeing Workers later on. :)

Thrax would have a son!!! I want a guy like Dr. Thrax to return. Remember Thrax is allegedly dead in ZH.

Yeap. Probably a European variant.

The full version of the screen is on the official C&C site. That looks indeed like an Humvee, then again, pretty much every military jeep looks like one these days...

Yeah Thrax is allegedly dead, even if he is there probably would be somone in the family who may know things like when the flesh falls off the bone.

the dozer that is supposidly intergrated to me looks like its just a second dozer round the side out of site used to build it faster

also it seems that they have stantions to put infantry on to shoot over the walls to the left (think starship troopers)

Im guessing that you can have multiple Dozers on one building to make it build, repair faster.

I hope the dev team reads this. Rework or Remove dozers from generals. In Generals 1, it was realistic, but 5 seconds of movement here, 5 secs there, the team that took over after westwood made the game really slow. The classic C&C was really damn fast, but Generals just took way too much time for 1 round. Next - the units, factions and maps don't have to be so real. Kinda make it like Endwar, where the units and armies were both plausible and unreal. As mentioned by a different user before me, different systems for factions would be great - overhaul of the mechanics differences idea from RA3. My suggestion is to make it like a hybrid RA and Gen - designate a place to build, and some workers and dozers will run out of a main ConYard, with each killed builder unit instantly replaced at the cost of extra time and money. The US of A could be included, with an airdrop mechanic, in which you designate a place for a new building and workers run to it, and an airdrop drops materials and equipment necessary for construction. A com array pack-up-able building would be the starting building. EU could get MCVs. Terrorists could be restricted to non pack up buildings and controllable workers. And please include player built walls and individual infantry units

If it is a generals game then it SHOULD be workers/dozers. Nothing else. Period.

I see the EU has dozer style building. Kind of hoping each faction has their own build mechanic though.

Dozers/Workers are fine, just as long as they stay the hell away from my Tiberian/Red Alert games.

But yes, I agree with you Noodlesocks. I wouldn't want them all to have the same exact build mechanic.

Unlike the dog mess that was C&C4,i would like to keep all 3 C&C franchise chararistics seperate leave Generals Dozer mechanic as it is.
