Command & Conquer Project 1.06 has finally been updated, more than a year after the previous release. Combining the classic EXE hacking with the external CnC-DDraw dll gives this new release a huge list of new features.

Read the ModDB release article (http://www.moddb.com/mods/command-conquer-unofficial-patch-106/news/patch-106c-revision-2-is-released) for a full overview of the new features.

Here's a quick overview of the major additions:
Free resolution control; you can play in any resolution you want
Videos can be stretched without black horizontal lines in them
Videos can be stretched to fullscreen in higher resolutions
A windowed mode is available
Better support for maps with less than 6 starting points
A new configuration tool combining the settings of both CnC-DDraw and the game itself into one set of easy options.

Some of the smaller features:
A beep is now played when receiving a message in multiplayer
The radar minimap is no longer zoomed in by default
All game fonts have been updated to correct errors
Colour errors in the stretching of the Nod map selection screens have been fixed

The new patch can be downloaded at the Project 1.06 website (http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/). The full release notes can be found here (http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/patch106c_r2_en.html).

OH man, I totally forgot to mention CnCNet in my release articles.

So just FYI: start the game with the included cncnet.exe to play online. It'll simply start the game in a mode that activates cncnet code in thipx32.dll (which, without that, will act as normal LAN dll), and start the game straight to the LAN games listing (which will then act as online games listing).

C&C95 has no ingame players listing though (except inside game channels), so head over to the (irc) chat of cncnet.org (http://cncnet.org) to meet up with people. Make sure players you want to play with are aware of the new revision 2; several of the maps have small fixes (invisible unbuildable and impassable cells were cleaned up), and I've seen people ask about "scenarios don't match" errors produced by that.
