Tournament starts Saturday 17.12 18:00 european time!
Features:
fully fledged tournament system, including sign-in, check-in, automatic grid creation and report loss function for a smooth tournament experience
Prizes:
Most of all Honour and Fame, a shiny medal in our forum for the winner and a place in our hall of fame for eternity
Mode:
- 1on1 Random Armies (if both players are fine with it you can choose your armies - rule is in place for balancing)
- Best of 3, Final will be Best of 5
- report loss -> loser has to report the games in the tournament system
- starting maps and after that losers choice
- gentool (anti-cheat protection) mandatory
How to participate in the tournament:
Step 1: Register at united-forum.de http://www.united-forum.de/register.php?langid=9 (if you are german visit this link instead: www.united-forum.de/?langid=8 (software will default to german then)
Step 2: Go to the tournament thread, include your ZH-ingame nickname (the name you have in the ZH lobbies, which can differ from your UF account) and hit "Anmelden" for Sign-Up, you will show up as participant immediately afterwards http://www.united-forum.de/generals-f202/ubz-turnier-zero-hour-cup-17-12-a-106406/?langid=9
Step 3: Check-In between 17:00 and 18:00 on the tournament day to confirm your participation (that is so the first round is smooth and all players are present!) Button will show up at the same place as 'Anmelden' was before.
If you are confused about the timezones, the tournament widget on the www.united-battlezone.de (http://www.united-forum.de/news/united-battlezone-s197.html?langid=9) will show a 24h countdown starting Friday 18:00.
