Which real-life locales do you want to see in this game?

Obviously C&C is known for having a wide range of locales in its games. Which would you like to see in Generals 2?

Personally, I'd love to see New York, LA, Paris and Shanghai.

Allready had Amsterdam in RA3, I think Rotterdam might be more interesting, for instance as a strategic location being an economic focal point and such for Europe.

Also Brussels, being the EU capital. I don't think CnC has ever been to Belgium before (unless it maybe was in a RA1 mission perhaps).

BioWare Victory studio locales. GLA infiltrates and attacks there, then forces the devs to fix Generals 2 so that GLA wins the campaign missions and the other factions get pawned. :p

Don't really have a preference. Just want a minum of 8 missions for each faction. But a charge on the 38th parallel by the russian/north korean alliance (if that is the 3rd faction) would be cool! You have to defend south korea.

Probably because I live in the area, hehe. But seriously the RA2 first mission for the Allies REALLY stuck in my head as being the most memorable thing ever.

If not New York, then I'd also like to see somewhere interesting and unique, that hasn't been done before (two polar opposites, yeah I know haha).

Kilkenny Ireland The Castle there is very cool, the name could be used as a passing reference to South Park (Like when EA had the Gosh Darn Mongolians challenge in Uprising). Which would be unexpected and hilarious, bonus points if they can somehow work into the script the "They killed Kenny " line. Ireland also never got a chance to be in a C&C game this could give them a memorable debut. It would be a nice reprieve from all the English locales (mostly London).

Ashgabat Turkmenistan- Destroying the Neutrality Tower/Sundial thing could be very symbolic. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashgabat) also has a lot of pictures of some really awesome looking structures there. Even the Streetlights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Street_light,_Ashgabat.jpg) look frikkin epic.

Any famous Greek City- Need some Greek love I don't know of any other country with as many statues.

Istanbul Turkey- It's location rich history, fabulous architecture, strategic position, etc.

Kraków Poland- An Eastern European city with rich culture and some strange but cool art.

Orleans France- Famous because of Joan. Nice would work fine too basically somewhere in France besides the overdone Paris.

One good thing is that I hope is if the US isn't part of the game then most of the missions won't take place in the US. I wouldn't mind something in Alaska since it is closer to Asia. And wouldn't mind going back to Australia, maybe Sydney or the Outback. Say a GLA Cell has been sighted in the outback and you need to stop them.

yeah id agree with that, and the trouble is with basing maps on real locations is sometimes it can inter fear with the gameplay. or take along time making the assets or placing them correctly.

a couple of real life location would be good but letting the map designers be creative would be better for me. (so long as they dont just use alot of multiplayer maps that are symmetrical and tweek them for campaign that to me is a bit naff.)

tho i do like the campaign missions to be available for multiplayer as well.

Maybe Cambridge or Pasadena, California, where the GLA are forcing the americans from Caltech to develop weapons for them...or MIT. Grand Canyon would be nice. Maybe Kabul or Kandahar, just random places that people don't usually see in games that are known for other things.

Yuri's Revenge and Tiberium Wars had missions in London and RA3 in Brighton, but yes, that's pretty much all the Britain we've got so far. Something in Scotland would be cool.

Yeah I want some more variety in some different places, anywhere but different. If another place has not got something such as nukes, then in the game it could be added that they developed them secretly, or obtained them from somewhere. To me it's just a game, but a game where I want to spend heaps of enjoyable time playing, and I would like some more variety than the same old.

-Basic is to have middle east without it Generals isn't Generals. Some Mogadishu type is essencial and there are plenty of hotzones in middleeast that need to "liberate" from terrorits, dictatorship, oil or whatever story require. In this enviroment can gameplay greatly gain from urban warfare experience.

-In future will be Norh Korea maybe one of last dictatorships in euroasia (as they already have nukes agains unwanted liberation) and pressure from western countries can trigger in NK need to want destabilising west with supporting terrorist in order to releave pressure. So some fight on Korea borders with help of ballistic defence for some thrill with countering nuclear strikes will be nice addition maybe with China indirectly involved as NK weapon supplier or as EU ally dependable on story of Generals 2.

-Scandinavian country missions will be nice, if snow terrain will be done well, i liked much snow mission in Tiberian sun just due (for his time) very nicely done snow land and bases covered with snow. For example in some future war for polar resources between EU and Russia in smaller border non-nuclear conflict. Snow country also add interesting feature of crossing light units through ice where heavy tanks sink so it can be interesting also from tactical point of view.

In contradiction to Generals where snow country looks awful in comparison to desert i want one graphic feature that can be seen in WoW where snow partialy reflecting light in small cristals fasion and it look more natural than big white texture from C&C Generals.

-There can be also missions from greener part of Europe some commando type for destroying terrorist cells inside EU with help of artilery or airforce guided by commando ability. Massacres in quiet green forrest land is very satisfying like first C&C demostrated very well. There can be also some coastal missions in Germany or Polland to give some more space to airforce for example countering Russian Navy in conflict for arctic ressources or something similar. In 2030 will be oil problem more serious than now and Russia will maybe fight hard to keep resource dominance enjoyed for long time from which is EU still dependent (mainly gas dependent).

They had Amsterdam in the Empire campaign in RA3. Doubt they would have that in the game or the game may not stay a T Rated game.
