Is there anyway to slow the game down? I'm not as young as I used to be and it's a little to quick. for me. it would be great if I can slow it down just a little.

as far as i can remember i dont think there is, perhaps changing down the difficulty is your best bet.

in skirmish games you can give the enemy a handcap that ranges in 5% intervals from 5% to 95% if you want to try making it slightly easier but at the same time keeping the A.I. sending plenty of units at you.

at 95% you can wipe out anything with a couple of APC's (tho the A.I. super weapons and support powers always stay the same to its original strength)

No there is not but on easy difficulty it should be a cakewalk either way. And as hellodean said the handicap function is great for skirmish mode.

If you play the skirmish game mode there is a tab called ''Rules'' where you can set gamespeed while you set up the match. I don't know about the campaign but i'm sure multiplayer gamespeed cannot be set.
