generals doesn't plays movies please help

hello everyone i love generals ive always played it but now since i got a new pc it doesnt shows movies when you should see a movie before a mission it just skips it and in the menu you just see a pic and hear no sounds
i actually have no pirate version i got the command and conquer saga but i also have the generals delux edition
this time i got the first decade version on. i hope you guys can help me

Sounds like you are using Windows 7. You have to go to where the game executable is and set the compatability options to XP Service pack 2 or 3.

sir if i do that it says i need to place the dvd in while i have it im 100% sure its in and its not only with the normal generals but also with zero hour.
