I know at the moment ea is busy on generals 2. But does anyone think they will continue the story and cliff hanger they had in kane's wrath and basically decannon the **** pile c&c 4 that I unfortunately was in the alpha and beta for. Or are they happy completely ignoring the scrim invasion and cliff hanger?

im sure there happy with it.

if any thing they would probably continue the story of soem thing like, X years after TT, where its more inter galatic or some thing, kind of like SC or what have you.

Nod would probably ether be destroyed, or a faction that went in direction X leaving GDI with earth and its problems while both have to deal with the scrin problem in their own ways.

but thats just my guess, and it would probably suck too.

No offense to the developers. I think they kind of rushed Tiberian Twilight and they put "unfair" limits.
Well, I liked Tiberian Twilight. But, the drawbacks are Population Cap, lesser Tiberium Crystals (Sonic technology
and the TCN combined) Harvesting resources is very fundamental to Command and Conquer, so
is base building. (Both were omitted, except for the Defense Crawler).

A little late, but I can say that it will not happen, the old team that made those cnC3 games are long gone by now, your better off with a CnC5

It's true they rushed the game but they did do something well. If you ever payed attention to the comics you can see there was something called the Incursion War when Kane allied with GDI and Nod got angry. It led to the destruction of Paris and other major cities. This is one possibility. Who's to say nothing happened in the 20 year gap (?) between the end of the Third Tib. War to Twilight? You also have to remember Twilight was about Kane ascending. The whole ascending part took two weeks over a 20 year gap. The dev. team also said they aren't done with the Tiberium series even though the Kane series is dead. So they might infact do a spin-off where you have to participate in the incursion war or something similar.
