Strategy for the Core Defender

When you play either of the last missions of FS what was your strategy to defeat CABAL's Core Defender?

Either mass spam with super weapon, or the old way.... air spam. The only "good" way to kill it is if you minimize losses, but aside from air domination, there is no other good way.

The easiest way I found to defeat it was to build a base on the island in the bottom corner and let the Core Defender reach the middle part of the bridge. And use the superweapon on the bridge segment to destroy it.

Titan/Orca spam for GDI. Or just spam tons of Banshee and Artillery strikes if I was Nod.

When I played the GDI's last mission in Firestorm, I had captured some Nod structures, so I was able to build Banshees aswell. So my strategy was:
20+ Titans
10+ Banshees and Orca Bombers
20+ Artilley and Juggernauts
1 Ion Cannon strike

The main thing I did the first time was build alot of Banshees to take out the Core Defender.

Rocket soldiers, Titans, Juggernauts, Artillery, air units, tick tanks, disruptors and hero units. Not all of them at the same time, but I use some of those units...depends on what I simply want to use at the time.

Not really....cranking up the gamespeed is all you need.

Well, easy.

First: You will need aprox 10-20 orca bombers.
Second: There is a small bridge below, where always the core defender pass over it.
Third: When the core defender is over the bridge, drop all orca bombers over the it.

The bridge will be destroyed with the robot over it. Instant destruction

When you have destroyed Cabal's missile silos and "borrowed" his Hunter Seeker Droid (cloaked at the top of the map), kill the Cyborgs around his Firestorm Defense protected core. Build six or more Banshees, five or more Artillery and about eight Tick Tanks. Have the Artillery attack Cabal's core. They will deploy and start shooting at Cabal. The Firestorm Defense will stop their bullets (which is expected for this trick). Next, deploy the Tick Tanks in front of your Artillery carefully, as they may get shot by his Obelisks. Capture all three Cabal Control Stations. This will cause Cabal the mutter something, then the Core Defender will start shooting the Tick Tanks. Quickly have your Banshees attack the Core. You should now have Artillery shooting the Core as well as the Banshees while the robot is distracted, blasting your Tick Tanks. This just gives you enough time to blow the core into oblivion. Although the "Mission Accomplished" will appear, the robot will still be running wild.
