Oh it will happen, but I think it will be less dramatic and I am pretty sure EA Circe will still do vote pruning. So we don't need to worry. I even think the thread will be a little more well behaved. I hate to admit this... but I think only the 'tight' polls that involved a Generals game got ugly... real ugly. The last time I seen anything remotely this bad was in any thread in an MMO Beta where the "Solo" and "Hardcore Raider" go into open warfare about just how much should the game be "party centric". The threads would degenerate to social darwinism and ample Godwin's rule being invoked. I am actually suprised no one Godwin'ed in these threads yet...Originally posted by StormWolf View PostYuri's Revenge because it is way better than TS. And I hope that this poll doesn't get hacked!
I almost feel bad for legitimate Generals fan, these polls somehow brought the worst out of a lot of people (not just out of the Generals fans), but alas... just on a glance it is easy to see which side got out of hand first, faster, and harder. As such I do feel bad for legitimate fans that are intelligent and actually care about the entire series as a whole.

Tiberian Sun has a great atmosphere, interesting storyline, Kane and a conflict that remains strong since Tiberian Dawn. It has some great ideas, but when you think about 2nd generation C&Cs - I think Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge were better.
In my opinion Tiberian Sun was a wasted potential gameplay-wise, when compared to it's successor. When you take a look at total conversions for TS which are still under development today, you can see how much could've been done to make the game more interesting. My vote goes for YR, which keeps me entertained till this day.

I just finished the Nod campaign of TS. I love YR too, and I don't mind which one wins, but this vote goes to TS.
