Speedtest.net

So what's your speedtest results based from speedtest.net? That website allows you to test your connection to see if your connection is faster or as fast among other connection servers around your area.

I know mine is still using a slow 1 MBps DSL connection from Verizon. I wouldn't want to pay more for a faster connection until the price is right.

I wish my ping was lower but my internet is better than 98 percent of Ireland supposedly so I'm happy with it.

Kind of good considering I'm only paying for 12 down and 1 up. What's nonsense though is that because I live in a college town, all the ISP's think we are all a bunch of pirates and will not offer anything higher than 2 up speed to the consumers. In addition, they throttle something awful, which is espicially bad when Valve likes to add more hats to TF2 causing me to have to re-download the game again. It also makes streaming Netflix a pain.

I have 40 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. Cant be arsed to post that screen to give this statement some kind of credibility
