    Who in gods name would do this to their own child? I mean when I was teething I had whiskey rubbed on my gums to ease the pain and I hated it (Tasted awful)...............but this is taking it to new levels.

              1) For your information I am not a lad.

              2) This is technically important news. In the UK drinking is a growing concern, especially under age drinking and binge drinking. This news topic highlights such a problem and helps people to understand how big a problem it is when people are giving their three year old kids alcohol and turning them into alcoholics.
              I know you can't monitor people in their homes and you can't stop them from doing idiotic stuff like this but something needs to be done. Say.......take the kids off them and give them a spell in jail? Or something along the harsh line, give people the message that this behaviour is not accepted.

                It is a problem for many societies, this issue of drinking. After all, moderate drinking can be done, but heavy drinking should be discouraged since it solves no problems save for the pockets of the winery/breweries.

                  I do not really drink. I see what it does to people and how it makes them act and I personally do not want to be in that state. It's not attractive to see a guy wobbling about spewing his guts up, let alone a woman spewing her guts and wobbling about.
                  I seriously do not have a problem with people who do drink but it is a concern when some people I know go out every weekend just to get themselves wasted. Maybe it's me but I do not see the point in it.
