wait then. It is still a fairly new chip that I haven't had experience in dealing with. Your next step would probably be to tweet @MicrosoftHelps on twitter. they respond fairly quickly, and If I run into a major ssue that I cant deal with- I turn to them

well i did some digging on dell's website and i've concluded microsoft officially fails harder then before cuz i found a driver update for the GPU from this month, and the chip apparently hasn't been updated since November of last year

k, apparently the card had nothing to do with it, it was bethesda failing to have fallout 3 properly support multicore CPUs -__-, i just made the game only use 2 of the cores and it works fine now

seeing as how it's updater missed 2 major driver updates for my GPU yeah, i'd say they do fail alot, this however wasn't their fail

windows update should never be relied on fully for that. it is reliable for the common consumer who buys pre built pcs from manufacturers. Take my Acer laptop for example: the card in my Acer Aspire 5741G is an nVIDIA GEFORCE GT320M, and there has never been an update for it, because nVIDIA doesnt make drivers for it: they expect ACER to make the drivers
