  • 185 Generals/Zero Hour mission map pack

    #1
As of 6/7/2011, all map packs for Generals and Zero Hour have reached over 26,000 downloads total, making it my most successful C&C file(s) of all time. But it didn't last until Gamefront deleted all my old Filefront download links.

I may have collected over 3000 maps at this point, however I am no longer re-releasing huge skirmish map packs (except mission maps) for Generals and Zero Hour. All files have been tested and are 100% virus free.

185 Generals/Zero Hour Mission Maps (including the lost Generals map "Black Sheep")
    Download: http://www.gamefront.com/files/21103...issionMaps.rar

    For XP users:
    Generals Maps: C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps
Zero Hour Maps: C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps

    For Vista users:
Generals Maps: C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps
Zero Hour Maps: C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps

Credits to all the people of the CNC community who made those skirmish and mission maps especially the former EA Pacific dev team.

    Please note this:
To add something about the map pack, please do not attempt to put all maps into the map folder, otherwise the program will slow down, unless if you have a fast PC. It appears the limit amount of placing custom skirmish and mission maps into the map folder is at least one hundred. Despite the numerous amount of maps, you probably don't have all the time to play all of them. You should decide which good maps you want to play and put them in the map folder. With all that being said, enjoy playing those maps.

                    thank you zocom..

i have not been able to get any mods/maps to work till i read your post..
apperantly we are not supposed to stick the mods/maps in the EA\C&CZH directory..it is supposed to be the documents\C&C directory..of all the mods/maps that i have tried, none say put it into the documents directory..

btw..has anyone tried to do a smurf mod? gargamel could be the super weapon...

It not just this Generals and ZH map pack. All of my map pack links pertaining to C&C3/KW, RA3 and Generals/ZH are all gone. But it doesn't matter anyway, I still have the backups to those map packs but I no longer wish to release them again due to unknown criticism from other users. Distribution of various CNC map packs are not legal unless if all mappers agree for the sharing of the maps.

The old links are the past but they are obsolete now since the 7zip files I uploaded into Gamefront (formerly Filefront) may have been corrupted after the upload.

As for the C&C3/KW and Generals/ZH mission maps, I might reconsider them for a re-release as an RAR file but I no longer collect maps anymore.
