Rules and Formalities
Seeding
Seeding will be done through random assignment after registration, once all players have signed up.
Special Rules
No using of ungarrisoned Mastermind/Prodigy to teleport Hexapod. You are free to teleport Hexapod if you garrison Mastermind or Prodigy in it.
To keep counterpicking in minimum, you may contact a referee and request for a blind pick.
Match Result Reporting
After the result of each match is clear, it is the responsibility of the loser to report the result by uploading the replay to the tournament system. As a precaution, please save all replays, even if you are the winner. If the loser fails to upload the replays to the tournament system, you need to upload the replay(s) to the specified result thread. A referee will then confirm the results and add the information in to the tournament system. Please save your replay(s) in case there is a dispute about the result! Once there are only four players remaining, matches will be refereed.
Out-of-Sync (OOS) Errors
In case of a desync or out-of-sync error, the following policy applies: You must save the replay, and a tournament staff member will review the replay. If there is a clear winner, that player will advance. If not, the match will be replayed. The staff member's decision is final and non-negotiable, and failure to comply with the decision may jeopardize your eligibility for future tournaments. Repeated OOS errors in relation to a particular player may indicate abuse. Should this occur, the player in question may be disqualified and banned from future tournaments.
Cheating/Disconnecting/Dispute Resolution
All reports and issues will be resolved by the tournament manager and the referees. Cheating and intentional disconnecting will result in exclusion from the tournament and a ban from future tournaments hosted by GameReplays.org. Poor sportsmanship may also result in disqualification from the tournament.
Being Late
Players that do not show up within 15 minutes of their allocated match time will be disqualified. Players are expected to continue playing until eliminated or until the end of the tournament is reached. Failure to play rounds in an expedient manner may result in disqualification.
Registration
If you accept the above rules and wish to participate in this tournament, please post a comment in the sign up topic. Do not post your sign-up request in the tournament discussion thread.
Good luck, Commanders!
