A little feedback from the community in case some might do. On my end, I was considering grabbing myself either a 550Ti or a 6790. Any card that may come out next year will pretty much influence their purchase plan in the future and that goes the same for me. So what's yours? Discuss.

Well, I had plans to buy a laptop, probably an alienware, so I guess this is just one more reason.

Agree, I should have added a "I'm buying/building a whole new rig" as another choice. May mods add that pls?

I might pick up a better card sometime, but that's unlikely. I don't really care for playing games at max settings, though I do enjoy it.

Hopefully with a year notice, you will have time to do it.

                I have faith.

I'll probably get an Alienware somewhere closer to the release date.

You don't need to get those overpriced PC's IMO.

Just go what I did, that's more than enough and I only spend $500!!!

I can run BF3 fine, I may upgrade my GTX460 to something in the 500 series, but I guess that would be after the game is released, or demo if possible.

well i need a complete new one , this crap can't handle it anymore (buy it 2007 with out coming c&c 3 tiberium wars).
i don't think i will buy a brand again (crap cpu) , those brands cost alot more , better put one 2gether , its alot cheaper , just don't know yet what 2 build , every year new stuf , so i wait when the game gets out dohhhhhhh
but hey still got alot of time , game only release at 2013 , so i can save some cash 2 make myself a beast

I already have a workstation with i7 980x, 12gigs of RAM, dual SSD and gtx 590, so i am ready! Not upgrading the machine at least until 2015, it cost me an arm and leg.

I don't need to upgrade anything, my comp reaches above the recommended specs.

GTS 450 here, runs everything on highest possible settings.
