    Here we are 3 days into the announcement (you have to forgive my lack of an creative title).

    We have not still gotten any more info regarding the specifics of their free 2 play model, and CIRE is giving us the silent treatment. Result is utter chaos. Forum is very fast splitting apart since we do not have any solid information given this time - and the devs remain silent. By just peeking at some threads I see all the rage and feelings unleashed, and without information this "battle" will continue to spread and despair. Hate words about a game spread faster than good words about a game.

    For those who hate the model (me included) - we have to wait till they announce more information so we can bash and rage on that instead of the idea which we are bashing on now.

    For those we defend and love the new model - you also have to wait for more information regarding the F2P details, since I see both sides arguing about how bad and good it is without no pure facts.

    I try to be neutral, but I like to see myself as some sort of CNC veteran, so forgive me if I don't like the change .

    Thanks for reading. What do you guys think about the lack of communication with devs and CMs?

    I think the community manager really needs to engage immediately with the community, EA need to get the community on board to make this work I am sitting on the fence at the moment but yeah CIRE you need to jump on the forums alot more and get the hype and interest flowing in the community

      I'll say its always the higher upper EA management that is forcing the devs and CM to be silent, I assume they are using this as some kind a way to find a way to get more money...

          I'd be nervous if I had a job at BioWare Victory now. Incoming cutbacks if/when this thing fails?

            well if my house was burning down it would seem important to talk to the rest of the people inside to let them know whats going on .

                  I don't think we're going to hear anything until next year.

                  They said themselves they don't know how it's going to work. As far as I'm concerned, it was a very bad idea to announce free 2 play when they have nothing but a gameplay trailer to show.

                        i wouldnt do that since 9-11 was an inside operation done in secretly
                        to make it an excuse to invade the middle east and take its oil

                        but on the other hand EA is Publicity destroying CNC
                        and destroying them selves (invading themselves )and not taking it an excuse to invade some one else (blizzard for example) so there is a big different


                        and on A 3rd hand command and conquer is just a game no body is going to die if a game get screwed
                        but in an inside operation many will die

                        and on one last hand its a computer game in there its a real life

                        one last note are u really a human to think that way ? u compare killing a 3000 person to be puppets and a tool (excuse ) to invade other countries and kill thousands of ppl to destroying a game ?

                        i kind of started to think ur not a normal human or u are not living on this planet
                        i hate this kind of humans (if they are )

                          We don't know that, actually. That's conjecture. I can positively tell you that the situation is infinitely more complex than that. Those conspiracy theories are pretty simple, one-way, and tend to fall apart in educated discussions. Alot of them rely on "too good not to be true" arguments and excuses, such as the infamous "If this isn't it, then what actually happened?". It's like the theist vs atheist argument; "You can't disprove the existence of God, thus you cannot be right", whereas the existence of God cannot be proven, either.

                          And this is why I'd avoid talking about such things in public forums. Religion and Politics usually fall into terrible arguments and start flame wars. Avoiding them altogether in public discussions is best for every party involved. If you wanna talk about it or make a point, you can always use the private messaging system or talk via a chat app or Facebook, because no matter how educated, patient, honest and respectful the discussing parties are, someone will always misunderstand something and start a flame war. It's unfortunate, but it's true.

                          Just my 2 cents.
