  • Game Feature A new idea about the management of army

    #1
First i'm belgian, so i speak french and i don't speak english very wel, so please be indulgent ;-)

    Subject:
Move the troupes of your allies.

    Description:
You can controle a part of unit of your allies, or all. For exemple, if you have a part of a army A (A = player 1) and a part of army B (B = player 2) in the south of the map, the player A control this army, and you have a part of army A and a part of army B in the north of the map, the player B control this other army.

    Positive Effect:
The micro is improved for combination of army

    Negative Effect:
The 2 or more playesr in the same team most be really friend !!!

If you're suggesting that different players have control over units on their team depending on where they are on the map, I disagree. It would be irritating if an ally took control of your forces without your permission. What I would suggest would be some kind of "gift" option, where you can select a bunch of units and then hand control over to a particular ally of your choice.

Besides, players with more than one faction on their team can already make use of combined attacks. It's called teamwork!

yes, but player 1 is concentreted on zone 1 and the player 2 on the zone 2, isn't it easier than
player 1 is concentreted on zone 1 - 2 and the player 2 on the zone 1-2???

(i reformulate to be sure i was good understood, not to have reason ;-) )

One word: YES! You should have control over every unit you make, and unless and until you give permission for sharing, then your teammate(s) can't use those units. But, sharing and an even distribution of resources is a must in a team RTS, in my opinion. +1 for gifting!

Yes! I agree completely, 100%. This must definitely be in the game! It will make it so much more fun to play together with teams!! And I will say there should be an option to "REQUEST UNITS". So you select the units/buildings of the player, and then press control+alt (or whatever) so that these units are briefly highlighted for the other player so that you know that you request these (also a light ping on their location on the map might occur). And some button appears on the screen of your ally and if he/she clicks on it, it says "grant request YES/NO". This will also make it fun to play with the CPU and you will be able to request units of the CPU in your team.

He who controls the post, controls the future of C&C !
