  • Battle for Earth: Uprise Mod for Red Alert 3

    Battle for Earth: Uprise, a total conversion mod for Red Alert 3, has recently surfaced. It features an original universe, where Dinosaurs evolved with intelligence and developed their own high-tech weapons of war, alongside humanity. The mod features 3 races: the Humans, the Raptors and the Stenonychosauri. The Humans are low-tech when compared to the other two factions, but rely on nuclear technology and fuel combustion, making do with what they can get their hands on. The Raptors have developed highly advanced genetic technology, and are capable of not only altering weaker Dinosaur species to fit their needs, but can also resurrect extinct ones. The last of the 3 races, the Stenonychosauri, have high-tech weaponry such as plasma, laser and acoustic weaponry. Their technologies are environmentally safe and the most advanced of the three.

      I thought this may be awesomely stupid until I stumbled upon this conversation under one of the tank designs:

      "Wow, this tank has "anti-dinosaur" all over it!"
      "Actualy, it's the Stenychosauri main battle tank."
      "Oh wow lol there are dinosaurs driving this tank!!"

      I literaly lol'd. Too bad I don't play RA3 anymore at all, I'd check this one out..

      Edit:

      "Wow dino in armor! Hit points must definitely increase!"

      This mod made my day, it's not even 1st PM and it's already awesome!

        Looks great, RTS with dinosaurs is something that HAS to be made. I might try it out sometime

          But Alex, I would believe that you of all people would know to post this in the Red Alert 3 Maps & Mods section.
          Which is a shame, because then this thread would hardly get any traffic.

                  We'll there hasn't been a Red Alert mod dealing with dinosaurs for a long time. Both RA2 YR and C&C Covert Ops are the only games with dinosaurs in-game.

                  Other than including dinosaurs, I still want giant ants in the game! :P
