  • RA2 Yuris Revenge for Windows 7

    hi guys,
    i install RA2 to my Windows 7 pc. and its works fine. but when i download ra2 Yuri's revenge it's gives error
    ***FATAL*** String Manager failed to initilaized properly

    what i need to do?

    You need to go to Ra2md,exe Gamemd.exe & yuri.exe and change the computability mode to XP SP3 make sure they are all the same then relaunch and this should fix the problem.

    Hope this works.

      The above should solve it, but just make sure you are running the games as administrator. Achieved by right clicking again and ticking the box run as administrator.

        thanks for tips but it's not work. it's gives same errors. i re-install game two times but nothing has changed.
        any guess?

              Update to 1.001 then that's another possible fix

                    did you change the RA2.exe as well? and game.exe Yuri's revenge is ra2md.exe & gamemd.exe Yuri.exe

                      You were applying it correctly, but running the shortcut on the desktop? Try running the Yuri.exe or Ra2.exe from the game directory.

                        Yes, You have to run the game from RA2.exe OR Ra2md.exe for Yuri's Revenge.

                          Preferbally from the Game dir, at least thats what solved it for me. Otherwise visit http://strike-team.net/forums/index....read-me-first/ and use the RA2 and YR download at the bottom of the page.
