I have a CD with a key. The game launches, but the menus are invisible. They can be navigated, but none of the options are visible. Also, when I start a skirmish game, the units and everything are visible, but cannot be selected. Running Windows 7 64-bit if that helps.

running as admin? in compatability mode for ... well try xp and then the rest.? tried any patches? tried making sure your system is up to date? anything else you can think of that will help? -

Yeah, tried all the XP compatibilty modes, Windows 2000, fully patched, run as Admin, even uninstalled and reinstalled, drivers updated and all.Comment

Ello, I have exactly the same problem. I've determined that it's a problem with some graphics cards. I suspect it has something to do with DirectX, as I don't have 9.0c anymore which I used to have when it still worked. If I can get 9.0c installed again, I'll see if that solves the issue.Comment

I have the same error and not because I don't have a good graffic card...I have a new computer and windows 7 and I tried everything like MikeUSA93 said...It says I have a resolution problem and when I connect in the game, I can't see the options or anything else except when I lower the game in the system tray and bring it back up then the options come back...!!! I really want to be able to play the game because it's been a long time since I've played C&C Red Alert 2 !!!!Comment
