I wonder if there could be a 2nd expansion to Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 called Revival. This game features 3 campaigns of 5 missions each with the return of coop play. They take place after the Allied victory of Uprising. However, not all campaigns are available at the start: the first soviet mission must be completed to unlock the Empire campaign, and the first mission of the empire campaign must be completed to unlock the Allied campaign. I was thinking that the final mission of the Allied Campaign: Fate of America, taking place in Washington D.C. in which you must defend the US capital from the Empire coming from the west and the soviets coming from the east. Each faction has new units, such as the Allied Stormbringer Warship: a super heavy air unit that can attack both ground and air units with devastating but relatively equal effect and has a special ability to supercharge its engines to ram into and pulverize aircraft in its way; the soviet Devastator cannon: a very powerful artillery unit that fires volleys of shells from its multiple guns and its special ability is to fires earthshaker shells that devastate foes in a wide area; and the Empire's Ion Assault Frigate, an amphibious and expensive yet somewhat fragile ship with a powerful ion beam that continually deals damage to a target and any target in its way, devastating against ground and sea units since it can traverse on land, less effective against infantry, special ability is Focus fire, which greatly increases the beam's power at the cost of speed and damage resistance.

Wouldn't mind seeing another expansion.Originally posted by KiethSomataw99 View PostI wonder if there could be a 2nd expansion to Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 called Revival.
mini-campaigns = lame. Why stop at five missions? I want more. This game features 3 campaigns of 5 missions each with the return of coop play.
Lameage! One of the absolute biggest things I hate about Uprising is that you have to do the first Soviet mission before the other campaigns are available. Bad Idea. However, not all campaigns are available at the start: the first soviet mission must be completed to unlock the Empire campaign, and the first mission of the empire campaign must be completed to unlock the Allied campaign.
So... the people who lost the war and hate each other somehow bypass all the other Allied nations, and working together, assault the most powerful Allied nation on the map? Does not compute, but weirder things have happened in games.I was thinking that the final mission of the Allied Campaign: Fate of America, taking place in Washington D.C. in which you must defend the US capital from the Empire coming from the west and the soviets coming from the east.

The enter key is your friend...
But anyway, I hate to crush your hopes but there most assuredly won't be another expansion pack.

Maybe the campaigns could have 6 missions each even though with 5 missions for each campaign, it'll be longer than Uprising

All right then, if it'll make more people happy, you only need to complete the first mission of the Empire Campaign to unlock the Soviet and Allied Campaigns. I got the title Revival because it's about a stone that has powers to revive people from death. The opening cutscene is of a Japanese Expeditionary force led by Yuriko Omega, who sensed a power underneath Mount Midoriyama, that uncovered a glowing stone with high energy readings. One of the people were killed, but when the stone was held close to him, he began to glow and when the glow fainted, he opened his eyes. The others were in disbelief. They then realized that the stone is capable of reviving the Empire. The first mission, Mount Midoriyama: A Stone of Rising, the Expeditionary force, including Yuriko, 4 Imperial Warriors, 2 tankbusters, 1 shinobi, and 1 archer maiden, must fight their way through Allied Occupied Areas to reach the Secret Headquarters of the Empire's remains. Your Co-Commander is Yuske Yoshito, an up and coming commander, who joins you with reinforcements of Mecha Tengus. You soon gain access to a new unit for the Empire: the Rejuvination Core: a modified core that heals nearby Units and can unpack into a Rejuvination Tower that can heal faster, but it can pack back into a Rejuvination Core. This unit is very useful since you will receive no buildings to build up your forces. When your forces reach the Empire VIP Bunker, the mission is successful.Last edited by KiethSomataw99; 06-10-2012, 04:45 PM.

At least it's not called Moon Project...right, guys?
That said, a second expansion isn't likely in the least given what has happened to CnC since RA3 released. A fair majority of people involved in RA3 are no longer with EA or now Bioware Victory. The people with Bioware Victory, considering a number of them are new are working on Generals 2 and or whatever the Frostbite 2-based RTS framework will be what powers the next set of CnC RTS games. For all generic purposes: SAGE/RNA is dead and thus any project on them is also dead.Last edited by Harrrr; 03-30-2012, 05:56 PM.

And about the allies final mission, it's not that they were overrun at other areas, it's that the Empire's remnants managed to develop and perfect a combination of the chronosphere and time machine and they transported across time and rescued Ackerman from his chopper and Krukov from the bunker and transported them around Washington D.C. The allies faced 3 foes, the Soviets under Krukov, the Americans under Ackerman, and the Empire under Tatsu. The allies now have the objectives, which is to survive and kill all three leaders.

I also was thinking that the allies have managed to modify their time machine and they realize their only hope is to go back in time when they hear Krukov mentioning the nuclear weapons and Einstein. The time machine is stable only with one person. Lissete Hanley has volunteered to go back in time and scan and copy Einstein's papers on the atomic bomb theory and return them to Allied Command. You and Warren Fuller are tasked to protect the White House and Capitol and other important landmarks. The Allies must survive until Lissete returns to deliver the plans for the atomic bomb and Command can give access to a modified Century Bomber armed with one Atomic bomb. The three bases are shielded against ultimate weapon and conventional attacks but the atomic bomb has been modified to penetrate the shield and vaporize the enemy. The battle ends with the vaporization and death of Krukov and Ackerman. Any hope of them being revived by the stone is dashed. Tatsu's base shield was destroyed by the bomb and then Allied forces poured into the base and destroyed it, killing Tatsu in the process. Yuriko was watching the destruction of Tatsu's base and realized that the stone had a higher price than reward and decided to bury it at sea, knowing that it would be best for it to be forgotten. Meanwhile, Tatsu was buried with Emperor Yoshiro. After the battle, Naomi Shirada, who was revived by the stone, surrendered along with the remnants to the Allies and the campaign ends with her awaiting trial.Last edited by KiethSomataw99; 06-10-2012, 04:50 PM.

For the Soviet Campaign, the commander must lead Soviet Remnants to regain their former glory as they face Allied occupants and Imperial attackers. Nikolai and Oleg were captured and cryo-prisoned by the allies, Zhana is one of the Co-commanders throughout the campaign as she went into hiding. One of the early missions is to locate and capture the cryo-prisons where Oleg and Nikolai are. However, Nikolai is freed, but as Soviet Forces approached, the allies destroyed Oleg's cryo-prison facility with a proton collider, killing him in the process. The Soviets then responded by destroying all Allies and vowing revenge on them as they would drive them out of Russia. In the campaigns, commandos are no longer trainable and have reduced stats, but slowly regenerate health and when they run out of health, they become unconsious and will revive after some time when all nearby enemies are destroyed and there is at least 1 nearby ally.

I don't know how to do a mod. Also, the actors for the characters in the Red Alert 3 and uprising are needed for this expansion pack, which I bet will be more successful than uprising. Also, to make it more attractive, all three campaigns are available at the start though it is recommended that you try the imperial campaign first. Also, another allied new unit (actually a returning unit) is the G.I. GIs function like they did in RA2, except they are available at 2nd tier and are more expensive but can swim, making them ideal for amphibious assaults. They use their deployed machineguns when in buildings. The Soviets have their own new unit though, the saboteur. The Saboteur is similar to the allied spy, in which it can disguise itself as an enemy unit and can be detected by animals and burst drones. However, their special ability is placing a booby trap in a garrisonable building, in which if enemy infantry garrison it, the infantry inside perish and infantry nearby are wounded and the building is damaged. When a saboteur infiltrates an enemy building, he is consumed and the building is instantly destroyed, regardless of condition.

For RA3 Revival, I need the actors from the earlier games. I also was thinking of a unit for the allies to replace the unbalanced stormbringer warship: the Focus Prism Corvette, a powerful air unit that can attack ground, air, and sea units with a specialized prism that fires a medium-range continuous beam on the target and grows in power the longer it is continually fired, kinda like the void ray. It is very effective against all targets but can only focus its beam on one target at a time and it has to face the target, leaving it vulnerable to group attacks. It is also more expensive than the harbinger gunship but is very durable, somewhat slow moving yet has good maneuverability. The Corvette's special ability is double front shielding, which greatly reduces damage taken in the front but makes it for vulnerable from attacks from the sides or back. This ability has no cooldown and is toggled from shields off to double front shielding and back.
I was thinking of another unit for the Imperial Arsenal: the Mind Templar. This unit, like Yuriko, uses his mind to damage foes, though through electrokinesis. It has a short range but is powerful. His special ability is Rewire Vehicle, which funtion's like the mind control in RA2 but it only works on ground vehicles and ships, with the exception of heavy bombardment ships. When a templar begins rewiring a vehicle, it slows down its functions, then ceases function, then it becomes the commander's own. During the process, the templar is immobile and defenseless. If the templar dies, the vehicle is returned to its original owner, unless the templar was heroic ranked, in which the vehicle is permanently owned. Each templar can only control one vehicle and normal templars can only take normal or veteran vehicles, veteran templars can also take elite vehicles, and elite and heroic templars can also take heroic vehicles.
