  • 3ds max HELP!!!

    i got 3ds max trial 2010 i tryed to open the type w3x on the art i go to art i opened an one of thoese folders like cc ff w3... and i opened it show it was empty i selected the all files i tryed open w3x and it telling to me this format was incorrect can some one help?

    The Mod SDK only works with 3D Max 7, 8 or 9.

    It will not work with earlier or later versions.

        Also, you can't actually open a w3x file in 3ds Max. You have to install and run a script that allows you to import w3x files. If you get 3ds Max 7,8 or 9 and try what you did above, you'll get the same error.
