It's time for a new reality competition to blow you off your feet...

Before I get to started with the fun of this thread, I'd like to talk a little about Generals Evolution. Generals Evolution (GenEvo for short) is a Total Conversion mod that brings C&C Generals to C&C3's engine. This mod also brings its own additions to the party. Some of which should not be mentioned yet due to the Navy SEALS team ready to kill me if I were to tell you guys. Things I am legally able to tell you:

- Superb special effects/ particle effects *
- Recreated Wh le 3 factions (USA, China, and the GLA)
- New abilities and upgrades
- New battle mechanics and advanced AI
- Lot's of stuff going "Ka-BOOM!!!" in a very epic manner, but I believe I already said that. (See line with asterisk)
- New maps to Conquer, and classic battlefields revisited. (That's kinda what GEI is about, but I'll get back to that in a minute.)

- And... a whole bunch of awesome top secret stuff.

The best part of all, is not top secret: After the final release of Generals Evolution, the mod will become open source!!! Big thanks to our mod leader, GuNsHiP_MK_II!

The goal of "GenEvo Idol" (other than poking fun of "American Idol") Is to help us to see what Generals/ZH map remakes people want in this mod. But to help me with my mapping, I created this a little differently than a regular poll. See, I really want to know why you really enjoy the map you voted for. I need to capture these feelings people have about the maps in order to make the remake properly enjoyable. So the twist in GenEvo Idol, is WHY I should remake the map you voted for. You'll need to persuade me, if you truly want the map you voted for to be remade. (And as tempting as it sounds, I don't take bribes. So just use your good ol' intuition to make us see eye to eye.) The other reason for GEI; It would take me a very, very long time to recreate all the Generals/ZH maps :P

*Not sure if I specified this on the official thread but all "Map" contestants are picked out ahead of time. I'll have to recheck with CCEBC, but I believe when the next season comes, fans will be able to nominate they're favorite contestants onto GEI, even if the contestant had already appeared as a contestant on the show. (Isn't it always nice how losers can come back the next season and be winners? )
