  • This Game Really as Bad as the Reviews?

    Hey guys,

    Title says it all. I'm just curious if this game is seriously as bad as the reviews say it is. It's on sale on Steam for only $5 IIRC so I want to make sure I'm not missing out. Thanks!

    for 5 bucks i think it's just about worth it


    but to answer your question i think most of the reviewers aren't quite on the nail as to how bad it is

      No it's not worth it, go buy Starcraft 2 instead, everyone else is doing that. C&C 4 is crap. kthnxbye.

        Five bucks on Steam?

        Wow.

        I should have checked it out there, then. I saw it was on sale for $20 at the EA store, so I decided to finally try it. (I don't like online only games)

        As to Starcraft...Don't intend to try it. Don't like it.

        But seeing the Zerg and the Scrin face off would be epic. Much like seeing GDI and Star Wars' Empire fight.

        Though, I'll take the Allies against Nod any day.

          Depending on which reviewer you go to it's either just as bad as they say or worse.

            I like the game myself. It is not very C&C but if you enjoy teamplay you'll have fun. If you are looking for traditional C&C or a wonderful single player experience you won't.

              It's okay for some repetitive multiplayer. Singleplayer and story are kinda lame and not really compelling.

              It may be fun at first but then it easily gets stale after a while.

                tbh i was given it as a gift and it felt like being given an STD without the ***

                so i cant imagine what paying for it must be like...

                  This game isn't worth paying for, I'm not even joking.

                  Play for more than five minutes and you will regret it. How this got past the design stage I honestly don't know.

                    It's a fun game, worth the few quid it's on sale for but it's not a C&C game. I would recommend at least making it to level 20 and playing some games online before you dismiss it completely. The first few levels you don't get to play with much and not a whole lot of depth available to you.

                      Worst $5 I've ever spent. I can't imagine spending $20, let alone $50 for it.
