I think so but Ill re Dl it and give it a go.

Where can I get the patch at? I searched everywhere and have no legit patch...

It should automaticaly download the patch when you attempt to launch the game, so I doubt that's the problem.

When you open the game the pop-up Launcher should automatically connect to the intrawebs to download the patch, basically, you can't open the game without getting patched as it's an online game...

Ok thats understood but how can I get my original problem solved.

Intro movie plays, then it disconnects me and says I need to log in. I do then it disconnects me again in an infinite loop.

Check your internet connection?

If you get to the login screen then it can't be the patches fault, but the connection. And we can't magically push a button to make it work for you.

Due to several reasons that can happen to anyone on the internet. If it happens too often then contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them to check your connection history as that may help in determining what might be happening. Do you have wireless internet, in some areas at times radiowave interference possibly can intermittently degrade internet connections which might be OK for webpage browsing but not for games purposes, well it's a thought.

It cant be my net connection since I'm online to type this not to mention I was watching utube at the same time...

Internet connection and compatibility to EA online servers are two way different things.

Incia I can understand what you mean but maybe the poster does not. Ages ago when playing online games I was getting too many of those disconnection error message and to check my internet connection, well I contacted my Internet Service Provider and they checked my connection history. I was quite surprised at how many times I was disconnecting and which I was NOT aware of it happening so much. They adjusted some frequency thing at their end to do with my connection to them and told me to try that for a few days, and if not better then to call them again where they will try another frequency. Well I did not have to call them again as my connection was heaps better than it was before. Since then it was very rare that I have have that disconnection error message and to check my internet connection. My advice to that person with the problem is as I mentioned before - contact your ISP and get them to check your internet connection history and that may help in determining what might be happening. When there are hundreds online playing the game where they do not have a problem then seriously consider that the problem maybe this or that at your end and where your ISP might be of help in sorting out your problem.

ok. you said internet was working but game specifically wasn't. check firewall settings on windows(if thats your os) and your antivirus.(if you are running 2 try turning one off its too much most times.) it may be as simple as allowing the eadm, the cnc4 exe and the cnc4launcherupdate.exe (one word) through your firewalls. if you are downloading the patch though try the next step
also wireless connections are great for sending info, not for gaming. a game needs a continuous stream of information for it to keep running. youtube can recieve a large amount of data play through that then download more, so it seems as though its a constant stream but in fact might not be. so if its wireless net then try hooking up to your modem via a network cable.

if using wireless plug to router/modem via network cable not wireless for gaming
if that fails check firewall settings and allow the game through

I just dont see why it wont simply work, all other C&C games have worked fine the first time Ive installed that game. This is the only one giving me so much trouble

cnc4 uses online too much. it is a major hassle with the game(as well as nearly everything else... it has kane though yay) a constant connection is required. the other cnc games did not require this (i have all of them cept the expansions for ra3). the game uses the net to play no matter what so you need a good connection to play. let us know how you get along with this issue
