However if EA made zombie DLC for Red Alert I would buy that instantly.
I found this article on why EA's Origin is unpopular
Unfortunately yes.
I haven't launched it in months though, I only have it because I have Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath bought through it.
Silly UKIP, get out of here! You're only popular with crotchety old racists.
Also we lent a hand in the Libya conflict, although poorly, so our presence in the EU army is justified.
Making soft counters stronger has the effect of making hard counters weaker. Let's take an example from Tiberium Wars.
> Your enemy spams Nod Milita. What do you do?
> Send APCs with riflemen...
Ever played Tribal Wars?
It's basically Tribal Wars.
For me on Chrome, the background doesn't appear at all... just a black square.
This is utterly ridiculous -- Chrome has a 20% share of all browsers used and is rising rapidly.
Any reasons for Chrome not being supported while the monstrosity that is IE gets prime support?
SUDDENLY FLASHBACKS TO C&C CASUAL
Yeah I'm not particularly pleased about this announcement. What's the point of making a big AAA title like Generals 2 to fix the franchise when you're also going...
I'm not fussed. If, in the game, I have time to notice a tank's tracks from my bird's eye view as commander, the devs are doing something wrong.
Terribly terribly wrong.
Oh god, please no Americans doing British accents. Expats at the very least, and even better if you can have actual natives who've lived in your target country their whole lives.
but getting...
It's 2D sprites, much like Tiberian Sun or Tiberian Dawn.
But it's sprites of Tiberium Wars
Well you see, apart from the shoddy service Origin provides (which I'm not going to argue about here) I'm worried about this, and this and this and this(warning! screencap of a 4chan post, strong...
Most C&C games with three factions have been split into
Expensive Stronger Units (Allies, GDI)
Weaker Spammable Units (NOD, Soviets)
Quirky faction (Scrin, Yuri, EotRS)
The EU is likely to be...
Just going to add my opinion here --
Unless the game will blow my mind, I will go to any means necessary to avoid Origin.
Even if that means not buying the game.
Okay, instead of all the silly "THURRD FAKSHUN SHUD BE ALEINS" threads we have, we should have a sensible and logical discussion as to what the third faction could be.
I want a well thought out...
I really really really want to be able to avoid Origin at all costs, because of the poor way EA have handled:
A) Bans
B) Privacy
C) Customer support
None of these make the game unplayable, just annoying.
I suggest that all units are hit by an effect similar to the Confessor's Hallucinogenic Grenades from TW -- they are effectively uncommandable...
If it adds value to the game, yes.
If it's just a gimmick no.
Example of good:
"And then I blew up the cliffside to redirect his troops and buy me some time!"
Example of bad:
"Look at our...
Don't be silly, this is EA.
Serious Sam 3 is a silly game, from a silly studio, from a silly developer.
We'll end up with "1 activation, constant online and use the word 'zeldajob' and get...
Reason not to have Origin exclusive: Origin sucks.
If I can get a disc which I can then activate on Steam or Origin, I'll do that.
Optional activation on both would be best. I'm not buying via...
Patching old games takes up valuable development time and generates no profit. It won't happen.
As fun as it would be,
people like killing people.
Or even humanoids. We aren't fussed. But people are best.
It's insanely hard to have non-humanoid characters in a storyline that people can...
Nowadays they're mostly used to link a physical copy of a game with an online copy.
How else will you confirm ownership?
