Multiplayer rush is fine, all players start at the same stage, but I've played some RTS while during the campaign you barely start your own base you already have the enemy's highest units attacking you, and they just make more every 10 seconds or so...
I like all C&C games more for the campaign ,not saying online play is not fun too, but the storyline as well as the slowly building up of technology and access to higher units/buildings is what is fun for me.
Also played a lot of online games with a no rush rule, not everybody likes it and it gives the game a different approach, it's not because it's a RTS that rushing is the only strategy or the best for that matter. TS allows for both, but at least your titan doesn't walk at mach II unlike some game I played...
Funny, I remember playing a TS online skirmish where the host set indestructible harvesters, so I rushed him with mine running over all of his infantry while building my own army.

Pretty much the best C&C game for me
- Storyline and Kane (Joe Kucan is the best lol)
-Graphics of maps and units (not cartoon looking things like C&C4...)
-Artillery & Juggernauts in FS
-Gates, walls & pavement (Don't like any unwanted visitors in my base :P)
-Firestorm generator & walls/Nod's laser fencing,
-The speed of the game is good for me, don't like the new rush style of some games and units popping each 5 sec...(C&C4), I like to have the time to formulate a strategy before getting attacked by 50 units within 1 min of game play... hence RTS...
-GDI base defense (way too weak)
-Camera angle and inability to rotate around,
-No real unit and building upgrades, and
-Hunter Seeker droid... enough said about that one...
I'd like to see a new C&C game with a mix of C&C TS and C&C3, upgrades and some units from C&C3 (mammoth tanks ) and atmosphere and looks(unit and maps) from C&C TS!
Stay away from C&C4's style!!!
My opinion anyway...Last edited by Morane14; 04-03-2011, 10:47 PM.
