I would be happy to see it getting CONVERTED to a C&C game set in the TIBERIAN UNIVERSE.

Only PC? Well, we don't have to worry about limitations and designs that are obviously in place for console-friendly usage.

I am expecting a more realistic handling of the vehicles and weather conditions that will affect units.
Also I expect no squads and hopefully cinematics with hot lassies that will brief you on objectives.

A way to reboot C&C in the Tiberian Universe could be a prequel to Tiberian Sun. During the time between Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Dawn.

    1. I went back to C&C 3 as well while bearing endless hatred for C&C 4.
    2. I hope a new RTS in the tiberian universe with ideas implented that I stated years ago. Or perhaps a Red Alert thats not as cartoonish as RA3. Or, who knows, perhaps a Generals again. Definitely not a WW2-themed game for Kermanits' sake!
Actually, I long for a true successor to C&C Renegade the most.
    3. I would recommend C&C 3 and Kane's Wrath.

With the first idea the emphasis lies on defending your economy together, as there's only one economy. However, the way the team spends their resources is up to the commanders. So one commander could buy harvesters for all.

With the second idea, you will have a lot of refineries and harvesters. If you target certain enemy refineries and/or harvesters, you will cripple the economy for those particular commanders. Meaning the commanders who are affected will have less resources to spend. This will result in loss of force in your team, meaning the team will get weaker by commanders who lose force in both army-size and commanding (overall micro-management).

With the third idea you have a combination of the first two ideas. There's a team economy and there's a commander economy. With this you can weaken a commander by targeting his harvesters, or affect different commanders or the whole team by targeting different local harvesters or global harvesters/refineries respectively.

I haven't considered the ideas much regarding balance. The first idea seems to be the least complex one, but the other ideas could work out just fine.

Their power and health should not be combined. They should just be seperate units (able to be targeted seperately), with their own damage type and upgrades etcetera, or else bullets and rocket will do the same damage to all armor types and will render the diversity useless. The only difference it should make is in how they behave.
The way they behave when they engage enemies, take cover or retreat should be refined. In a way so that the player can control how the units in the squad behave when something occurs.

The way I see the squads working is like this.
You have 2 riflemen and 2 rocket-launching soldiers in a squad.
When you attack an enemy tank, the riflemen won't do much damage compared to the rocketlaunchers. However, when you have an enemy tank and enemy riflemen together, the 2 riflemen will automatically attack the riflemen while your rocketlaunchers target the tank.
But here's a problem. What unit do you press on to attack and how will the squad react when there are other enemy units nearby? Do they just detect what unit is most vulnurable to what attack type and attack in the most efficient way? If so, this will take out some of the micro-managing and simplify the commanding of infantery.

What solution do you have for generating income? Does each player have to build his own building for this or do they share the income like in C&C Renegade?

This game mode would be lots of fun as teamplay. It's comes down to a '1 base, 5 commanders and thus 5 armies'-mode.

The hunter-seeker was something Westwood did not finish due to their deadline I suppose. It was intended to function differently.

Tiberian Sun + Firestorm does have the greatest feel to it of all C&C tiberium games. Thanks to not only unit, structure and environment design but music and sound as well.

Steel Talons is more for advanced players. Let's say it takes more work to win with Steel Talons than with vGDI and ZOCOM.

What you want to do is scout and see what your friend is doing so you can make units that counter his units or plan. Try to control the map by sending multiple scouts and garrisoning them in the buildings at several routes.
Try to harass his harvesters to cripple his economy. Also use surprise attacks. For example send in a Titan from the back while you attack from the main front.
Know your Steel Talons units and powers well, of what they can do and cannot. And of course micro-manage your units on the field well so you keep your losses at a minimum while your opponent takes heavy losses.

How could anyone come up with the ideas for this particular car. Its sound and looks and performance are just because of sheer brilliance.

    2. Command and Conquer Tiberian Universe
The mysterious and dark concept of this universe, in which we have warfare while the planet is in a dire state because of this substance called tiberium. Something really hits at home and deep with this excellent story. Pity it had to end in a disaster that´s called CandC4.

    3. El Nino Miguel´s Vinos y Caballos
Nobody has written such a bulerías before. It´s already rhythmically outstanding, but melodic and the complexity of finger positioning are what really makes this composition a revolution in guitar play. Played at tremendous speed as well.-

    4. HD monitors with 1080p resolution
Now you can watch naked women over the interne at home on your HD monitor.

Games that resemble C&C Renegade Multiplayer.

So, got any knowledge about having a base you need to defend? Meanwhile you are supposed to destroy the opponent's base using vehicles and advanced infantery that require a war factory and barracks and also a power plant to maintain the same prices.
