    Cant Install

    i did every thing it told me to do i just cant get it to even start the installer it wont go that far

    64-bit

    Is there anyway to get C&C1 (Tiberian Dawn) working on Windows 7/ 64-bit computer

    Right, since I took the effort of writing this as PM to Reclamator I guess I can just post it here too

    The CD installer doesn't work on 64-bit operating systems since it's 16-bit. Here's what you do:

    -Go to http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/
    -Scroll down to the "Complete No-CD game installation pack" (100 mb), download it and install it. Note that this is one of my older versions.
    -Download the 2 things in bold at the top of the downloads list; the patch and the hotfix. As the text there says, FIRST install the patch, and THEN extract the hotfix (a C&C95.exe replacement) into the folder where you installed C&C95 folder.
    -If you want the videos, the easiest way is to simply disable no-cd mode and use the isos from the freeware version. Open the CONQUER.INI configuration file in the game folder and find the "NoCD=1", and change it to 0. Remember to mount the ISOs before playing.
