Does first decade work on a mac running bootcamp with windows xp?

Can anybody please tell me this...ea or victory games you have to tell me this or you will lose a customer...

I am sure there will be many people in the same situation...surely you are able to make a patch to make it work if it does not.

"you"? The only people doing tech support on this forum are the users anyway. And we honestly don't care what you decide to buy or not buy. I personally stick to C&C1 and RA1, both of which are freeware now.

Also, don't generalize us as U.S. residents. I live in Belgium.

As for TFD, it's a load of different games requiring different compatibility options. The games all work on XP, but you are the guy running it on a mac with bootcamp... you tell me. I have no idea what that bootcamp stuff it is, personally.

Bootcamp isn't really something else but a package of drivers, not a virtual machine. Sure it works as it works on XP. As a Mac user you might want to know what your software does. You don't even need to have OSX installed on a Mac, don't have that myself since Win7 is out as it is the better choice anyway.

For running TFD? I doubt it. XP seems to be the only system on which you can run it without too much hassle.

I meant the choice if pitted vs OSX. Haven't tried TD and RA for a long time. ^^

Oh, those 2 are exactly NOT the games that have trouble on newer OSes... since they don't store stuff in special system folders and user registry

As for bootcamp, I remember my internship colleague last year running MS Office on his Mac, so I guess I have seen it at work.

Mac users just think everything is "magic".

Didn't have problems with TS either, never tried RA2 on Win7 now that I think of it.
And there are some reasons why Macs can be good if you are a designer or if you like to program for the iPhone. Only Mac users that are using only the mouse all the time are that way. If they start treating it as an UNIX system as it is they usually know whats going on.
