Game Crashes Whenever My Troops Reached The Enemy Base

Ok So I just bought this game today and was sooo damn excited, but then I made a few Militant Squads to destroy the GDI base but game crashed, nothing popped up or so, so I tried Scrin and GDI, same thing happened. Can Anyone here help me ?

THERE WAS NO ERROR MESSAGE THAT CAME, JUST CRASHING ! uhhh map ? well I tried EVERY MAP yep still crashes, The AI was doing what it always does, stand there and attack with the most stupid infantry force -50% handicap can offer =D

Your whole system is low end, you should have trouble playing most games today not just this one. Your GPU especially is much lower than the system requirements, with only 128 mb memory it is normal you are crashing.

I am amazed the game even starts. You should upgrade everything, RAM, CPU and buy a new GPU if you want to play this and other PC gamer after 2007.

Intel graphic chipsets are no good. They rely on shared memory as it is and are not that powerful. You may get away with it by playing older RTS games before 2007 but today nope. Since you're on a laptop made by IBM I would suggest a complete upgrade since upgrading your components isn't an option here.

If you're looking to stay on the laptop side of things, ASUS and Gateway has laptops built for gaming that are affordable starting at $800 and up.

The only thing I can recommend if RA3 runs fine for you is to make sure all your drivers are updated and Windows is up to date as well.

Guys this is a specific issue with some of the shaders involved with low detail settings and intel graphics.
I don't know which specific units / buildings trigger the crash but there is a workaround.


Go into your GRAPHICS detail settings.
They should all be on LOW.

Change the SHADER setting to MEDIUM.

That should fix your problem.
