Yesterday I tried to play a fully patched Fallout New Vegas on PS3, but the framerate dropped so much it wasn't playable at all. Again. Still. Damnit.

Well, I suppose it's EaW:FoC for me then.

    Sengoku Musou 3 Z (PS3)
Sengoku BASARA 3: Samurai Heroes (PS3)

Doubt anyone here plays these or heard of these because they're largely alien to the Western world.

I can say I heard of them, ... though doing asian studies doesn't really qualify me for being a normal reference I take it.

Unless my wallet betrays me, I a going to play Xenoblade Chronicles sometime around next month ... non-stop I dare assume.

Oh, well, in name of Xavi + Otomo Sorin, we must convert you to Xavism! (Inside joke which is based on a semi fictional religion both in the game and real world) In other words, Sengoku Basara 3 is a okay game for its first release in the west, it just didn't pick up the consumers unfortunately, since they're both catered to the Asian and more specifically Japanese target audience. The producer thought that Westerners were largely ignorant of Japanese history...

Which they frankly are for the utmost part and which goes for the whole of asia. How many people over here knew the epics of Jiraiya (which was a total spoiler for me and the Naruto manga, damn my knowledge) or the various legends implemented in Ookami (which was at times massive spoilers again, but I learned some new ones from that game (totally in love with the game!!!)). It is shaming how many people still call japanese swords "Samurai sword" and the less stupid ones calling them Katana, if most of them are actually referring to Tachi or Nodachi.

Or how many people did you met that actually know that Dragonball is based upon the journey to west!?

    It is ... unsettling.

I have just bought the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age 2. So far, the gameplay, storyline and DLCs are great, but the story is shorter than the first Dragon Age, and it can only venture in only one city and the surrounding area. I hope that the next Dragon Age would be even better than Dragon Age 2..
