Quick TS question on Team color

I was wondering, what is up with the random team colors in the Tiberian Sun and Firestorm campaign? I've seen a single watch tower in the light green tiberian lifeform color (Final Nod level in Firestorm), viscroids that spawn during the game appearing in dark green (Firstorm Nod 7) and even gold (Firestorm Nod 3) color schemes. What's up with this random color selection? Why was there a random watch tower belonging to a light green team?

    Mutants aka The Forgotten

Maybe some visceroids are more mutated than others

No not the green that can be used in skrimish, I'm talking about the light green that's exclusive to campaign and used only to represent tiberium lifeforms (viscroids, fiends, floaters.) As for the other colors, viscroids spawned in-game from infantry typically spawn neutral in a white scheme, but for those two particular missions they spawn in differnt colors.
