    Story based on Scrin Towers and continuation.

    Subject:
    Continue story from C&C 3 (ignoring C&C4) about scrin Towers and expand story from previouse games. Include some Kane master plan and mystery.

    Description:
    In my opinion It will be good begining for the next Tiberium game story to start it from the end of C&C 3 KW. Main thread will be the GDI investigation of strange signals send in space by Kane (They don't know that yet - as always They sending forces to checkout becouse it is too quiet since the last war (like before 3 Tiberium war - they don't want to be cought by suprise attack).

    Expedition discaver that Nod and Kane using tacitus send signal and also manage to learn purpose of the scrin towers. Signal wos send to the scrin with false information about difficult situation of humans on Earth (good time to strike). Nod leader know that towers are the gateways to the other worlds, planets and use it to colonize them (Long time before that game events start - this is the Ascension). Scrins will not use them in their invasion becouse last time that idea didin't work, so they bring they forces on starships and destroy us once and for all for their last humiliating defeat (We where weaker they stronger but still they lost - you no Honor thing etc.)

    Nod will hide on new planets for the time of invasion first steps wait that Scrins will weaken GDI and also theirown forces. GDI Expedition will pursue them on new planets, but they will imidietly come back when Scrins come back.

    On their way back they will discaver that Mutants come back from exile full of anger on GDI and NOD ( becouse in destruction of Nod temple in TW war also explode a large amount of Tiberium and kill many of them. They want revenge and leave planet by scrin Tower). GDI fight with The Forgottens (And we have a new faction Kane in that time try to aweken thei cyborg forces and bring brack Cabal online (Why?Becousse it is a coll idea, new faction can born and also a mystery for a while).

    Tacitus will provide important information about Scrins and coordinates of new planets...cdn

    I can go further with this but for now it is enought. It shows how story of C&C should look like with the use of (Print)Scrin Towers and ideas since the Tiberium Sun.


    Positive Effect:

    +With the only story we have a lots of options to implement in game.
    + Fans will be happy with the new game direction,loyal to the C&C and Opposition of C&C 4
    + Logical expand of the C&C 3 story is also loyal to the early games. Not some strange ideas.
    + Artistic freedom of creation ( New enviroments/planets/factions/aliens/cabal/Ts weapons/Mutants)
    + Players want to see in new game Cabal, Scrin, old units. With story write as a logical continuation Fans will be happy and new plaeyrs will have much deeper/ interesting world to explore.
    + Much more freedom in possible expansions pack or continuation. (exp. fights on new worlds also infested with the tiberium (or sometimes not), invasion on Scrin homeworld, Nod secret plans on other worlds, Now humanity homeworld after coplete infestation of Earth etc.)

    Negative Effect:

    -Continuation will require some knowledge about story from previouse titles to understand it fully. (Is that truly a big disadvantage)
    - Some people want a fresh start from the begining.
    - Story wos always about Tiberium, NOD and GDI not some huge rpg story with too mane factions and units ( I also dubt that this is disadvantage)
    - I dont know... maybe different direction of story will be better?

    I agree, that CnC4 story should be ignored, everybody does mistakes. This continuation has more logic in it, idea isn't flat, it gives a large field for developers. 1000% agree.

    I donīt want to dissapoint you, but Ea allready started with developing the game.
    Donīt you think EA allready has a story or a idea for the story? When our Ideas will arrive VG they will be in the middle of developing and maybe change some gameplay things if our Ideas are realy realy grate and good to do. But thatīs a real story and we donīt even know if they do a Tiberium game.
    Maybe it will be Generals or Red Alert or a new Universe.

    So, of course itīs not wrong to post a story, but I canīt imagine that VG will take it.

    The Story is not realy bad at all but a bit far-fetched I think.
    Also the biggest issue with posting story ideas is, that you allready know your story, because itīs your Idea and we read your Idea. Wouldnīt be very interesting to play a game with a story that I read one year bevore.
    Do you understand the problem?

    I think it would be better to play a game where I do not know the half of the story =P
    So itßs better to hope that VG writes a good one.

    But, paddl, VG should at least appreciate our recommendations, agree? Or do you think that this forum section is just a fake to lure people? I hope, that VG won't blow them after such short life. Again to post: this is only a scheme, we don't know the main - Ending If VG picks this idea, they probably will get only keys from it, and then write the story based on post. Add some stuff, edit a bit, bla-bla - voile! Cute story for CnC.

    A huge negative is all the extra work that would need to go in developing other worlds.
    The one we got atm is good enough, going into space in the beginning is going too far, imo it should happen at the end of the story.

    Also, well, this is an opinion thread more then it is an idea thread and belongs in general discussion.

    Do you really think they do nothing ? as I said, VG develops the game in this moment and we donīt know since when!
    The story is one of the first things you need if you want to make a game. What should they do, if they donīt even know in which universe the game will play? Maybe the engine? Not really, because without the story, they donīt know whatīs important for the engine. Do they need good watereffects, particleeffects,clouds, or a special physics because the game plays on the moon?

    They must have a story idea, if they are allready in the middle of developing. Would be senseless to develop a game without a single idea for the story.

    Of course they should! and I hope they do! Butt, I only think itīs unrealistic to think VG would use one of those story ideas. Much more realistic are gameplay ideas. VG can add as many gameplay ideas as they want, if they allready have a story and a engine
    Maybe you have an unbeleavable cool Idea for a unit or maybe an idea how to manage the ressources, or how to change the gui or what the hell.
    Why they should not implement such things if possible and useful.

    Hope you understand now, Iīm only realistic.

    paddl: ah, OK. It would be a lot easier if we knew, what universe VG plans to do. Realism is good, but can't we dream lol?

    Yeah I agree, just make Kane 20 years younger and continue from the beginning with baby face Kane from Tib dawn... oh wait.

    I Agree with the comments and I know that They probably never use that post (If they do that - well, It won't so bad...).
    Tiberium is my favorite universe. Thats why I write about it.
    Some companys first do game related stuff (writing new engine - 6 to 12 months) and then implementing story to explain used tech, ideas etc in game.
    Maybe it is not too late.

    Most important to is that the futere story ( Even if the game will be Red Alert or Generals) should be based on the previouse games and drived by LOGIC.
    I will not survive another C&C4 clone. If they write other story - fine, I'm not the story developer in VG. If that story will be coherent and logical I will be happy.

    Last thing, if we all are realistic - then we should write ideas for the new generals game. Why? Becouse there wos no new game in that universe for some time and people are screaming on forums: "OPEN THE DOOR"...ups..."BRING BACK GENERALS!" - I prefer true tiberium game. Back to the GDI vs NOD vs anybady (Scrin) in a C&C TS mixed with C&C 3 way.

    VG doesn't annouced any game for now so there is chance. Judging by the voting for the most favorite map, They probably want to see which universe have more fans (they are new and don't know that much about C&C now - so they ask us. Wise move.). In that time they are doing new engine and later games for each universe.
