Continue story from C&C 3 (ignoring C&C4) about scrin Towers and expand story from previouse games. Include some Kane master plan and mystery.
In my opinion It will be good begining for the next Tiberium game story to start it from the end of C&C 3 KW. Main thread will be the GDI investigation of strange signals send in space by Kane (They don't know that yet - as always They sending forces to checkout becouse it is too quiet since the last war (like before 3 Tiberium war - they don't want to be cought by suprise attack).
Expedition discaver that Nod and Kane using tacitus send signal and also manage to learn purpose of the scrin towers. Signal wos send to the scrin with false information about difficult situation of humans on Earth (good time to strike). Nod leader know that towers are the gateways to the other worlds, planets and use it to colonize them (Long time before that game events start - this is the Ascension). Scrins will not use them in their invasion becouse last time that idea didin't work, so they bring they forces on starships and destroy us once and for all for their last humiliating defeat (We where weaker they stronger but still they lost - you no Honor thing etc.)
Nod will hide on new planets for the time of invasion first steps wait that Scrins will weaken GDI and also theirown forces. GDI Expedition will pursue them on new planets, but they will imidietly come back when Scrins come back.
On their way back they will discaver that Mutants come back from exile full of anger on GDI and NOD ( becouse in destruction of Nod temple in TW war also explode a large amount of Tiberium and kill many of them. They want revenge and leave planet by scrin Tower). GDI fight with The Forgottens (And we have a new faction Kane in that time try to aweken thei cyborg forces and bring brack Cabal online (Why?Becousse it is a coll idea, new faction can born and also a mystery for a while).
Tacitus will provide important information about Scrins and coordinates of new planets...cdn
I can go further with this but for now it is enought. It shows how story of C&C should look like with the use of (Print)Scrin Towers and ideas since the Tiberium Sun.
+With the only story we have a lots of options to implement in game.
+ Fans will be happy with the new game direction,loyal to the C&C and Opposition of C&C 4
+ Logical expand of the C&C 3 story is also loyal to the early games. Not some strange ideas.
+ Artistic freedom of creation ( New enviroments/planets/factions/aliens/cabal/Ts weapons/Mutants)
+ Players want to see in new game Cabal, Scrin, old units. With story write as a logical continuation Fans will be happy and new plaeyrs will have much deeper/ interesting world to explore.
+ Much more freedom in possible expansions pack or continuation. (exp. fights on new worlds also infested with the tiberium (or sometimes not), invasion on Scrin homeworld, Nod secret plans on other worlds, Now humanity homeworld after coplete infestation of Earth etc.)
-Continuation will require some knowledge about story from previouse titles to understand it fully. (Is that truly a big disadvantage)
- Some people want a fresh start from the begining.
- Story wos always about Tiberium, NOD and GDI not some huge rpg story with too mane factions and units ( I also dubt that this is disadvantage)
- I dont know... maybe different direction of story will be better?
